Student answer (Band 6.0)
Dear sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my happiness regarding the services provided by your company on last Sunday. The care provided by your team towards my furniture was really recommendable.
The foremost reason why I love your work was Handle with care policy as all the employee first wrap all the furniture and wear non slip gloves to protect all my belongings. The next reason was the after moving services like cleaning the empty area with mop. Apart from that, the thing which I did not like was time management between your team as all the work was not managed at time which makes me stressed as I have my online meeting in the evening. That was really very crucial for my career. That's all what I want to express.
Thanks a lot for your help. If I want to move some where else, I will definitely contact you again.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: explaining what went well, praising an employee, and mentioning a negative aspect. However, the second bullet point regarding praising a specific employee was not fully developed; you mentioned the team generally but failed to name or describe a specific individual's helpful actions. To improve, ensure each requirement is given sufficient detail. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though it could be more professional in certain phrasing.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized, with a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'The foremost reason' and 'Apart from that' to transition between ideas. However, the paragraphing is insufficient; the entire body of the letter is contained within one block of text. Breaking the letter into distinct paragraphs for each point would significantly improve the flow and readability. Additionally, some transitions feel slightly mechanical.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'belongings' and 'time management'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'express my happiness' (instead of 'satisfaction') and 'cleaning the empty area' (instead of 'clearing the space'). Some phrasing is repetitive, and the use of 'recommendable' is not standard in this context. Expanding your range of collocations would help you achieve a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'all the employee first wrap' (subject-verb agreement), 'as I have my online meeting' (tense inconsistency), and 'That's all what I want to express' (awkward structure). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after periods. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tenses will help improve your accuracy.
