IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently used a company to help you move your furniture and possessions to your new apartment. The removal company has now asked for your feedback about the service they provided.

Write a letter to the removal company. In your letter

• explain what went well on the day you moved house

• praise an employee who was particularly helpful

• mention an aspect of the service that you were not happy with

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 6.5)

Dear sir,

I am writing this letter to give feedback to you about your service related to furniture movement. My name is Manpreet Singh i used your service on 02/01/2026.

Recently, I booked your service on the given date at 8:00 am. The driver and the helpers came on time. I showed them all the stuff which need to be removed. They assisted me to take all of them from the third floor by stairs. They were very concerned while handling the stuff.

Furthermore, One of your employee his name is Ram who talked to me during removal and gave me suggestions. At one moment, I got stuck with the bed dismantle so he came to me and supported me to do that.

However, one aspect of the service that I am not happy with which is the space in the van. The van was already full of the other equipment such as instrument box which was very big and some more things. Which made the journey two times to transfer from one place to another. So if you can have a look on this issue that would be helpful for another customers.
