Dear Sir or Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. I would like to share my experience with your comapny who helped me to move my furniture and possessions to my new appartment.
Recently one of my friend tole me about your companay. I have called to customer care representative to book an appointment. He responded extreamly well and he had gave me decent amount of a discounts.
On the day of movement, your staff came on the right time. I offered some tea and breakfast, but they strongly denied as they wanted to finish work on time. They are very soft spoken, kind and hard working. Their hard work and dedication made this movement effectivey and a timely manner.
However, one thing i would like to mention that quality of packages would not be a great, some boxes are completely torn out and some of furniture items are broken.
Overall, i have a good experience with your staff and enjoyed a quite. But improvement in packaging area will help you to maintain your business and get more customers.
Best regards,
Maddy

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The candidate successfully covers all bullet points required by the prompt. They explain what went well on the day of the move, noting that the staff arrived on time and were polite and hard-working. They praise an employee who was particularly helpful, mentioning the customer care representative who responded extremely well and provided a discount. Additionally, they mention an aspect of the service they were not happy with, specifically pointing out damaged boxes and broken furniture. The tone is appropriate for a formal complaint/feedback letter, starting with Dear Sir or Madam and concluding with a suitable sign-off. All parts of the task are addressed adequately, allowing the response to achieve a solid band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organised into logical paragraphs, separating the introduction, the positive aspects, the employee praise, the complaint, and the conclusion. There is a clear overall progression. However, cohesive devices are sometimes faulty or mechanical, and referencing is not always clear, such as abrupt transitions between sentences like 'They are very soft spoken...' and 'However, one thing i would like to mention...'. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to structure the letter, and the progression from greeting to body paragraphs to closing is clear, though transitions could be smoother for a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'dedication', 'discount', and 'possessions'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'comapny' instead of company, 'appartment' instead of apartment, 'tole' instead of told, 'extreamly' instead of extremely, and 'movement' instead of move. Despite these errors, meaning is generally clear and communication is not severely impeded. The vocabulary is sufficient to convey the intended message, but lexical control needs improvement.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The response features a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over grammar. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as tense and form issues like 'he had gave me', 'your staff came on the right time' (preposition error), 'quality of packages would not be a great', and capitalization issues with the pronoun 'i'. Punctuation is also occasionally weak. These errors are noticeable and require some effort from the reader to parse, though they do not completely impede overall understanding.
