IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently used a company to help you move your furniture and possessions to your new apartment. The removal company has now asked for your feedback about the service they provided.

Write a letter to the removal company. In your letter

• explain what went well on the day you moved house

• praise an employee who was particularly helpful

• mention an aspect of the service that you were not happy with

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir or Madam,

As a new customer of your company, I am writing this to express my gratitude for the service your company provided me during my moving to a new apartment.

Last saturday when I called in your company to assist me in moving on immediate sunday, without any second thought the staff accepted my request on such a short notice which was a complete surprise for me. Also, during the moving I could not have imagined it as a one day job but the incredible staff made it possible without any hassle and shifted every fragile possesion very carefully which relieved my stress.

No doubt, I would like to thank Mr. Michael who was very helpful when I requested him to assist me to settle the furniture in the new apartment to which he agreed and worked with me late night which left me speechless and pleased. As we know these days people just treat a job as a burden he had proved that jobs are not only a burden but a responsibility to satisfy the customer.

However, the only thing that caused incovenience was trucks that were not enough big to carry most of the things at once. I would like to suggest you to invest in some big hauls for more comfort and convenience for the customers having extra stuff to move.

I wish you luck for your future and will surely recommend your services further to my family and friends.
