Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses the main bullet points of the task, covering what went well on the day, praising an employee, and mentioning an unhappy aspect. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited and partially incomplete. For instance, the explanation of what went well and the praise for the employees remain somewhat general, such as stating "The team securely packed and tranported my all furniture," without offering extended elaboration. Similarly, the aspect of the service you were not happy with—needing to load everything at once—is presented with limited clarity and basic support. To move to a higher band, all parts of the task need to be more fully and thoroughly developed with extended explanations and clearer positioning throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter exhibits some basic organisation with paragraph breaks used to separate different points, such as the initial positive experience, the specific praise, and the complaint. However, there is no clear overall progression linking the ideas smoothly. Cohesive devices are used minimally or inaccurately, and referencing is sometimes unclear, as seen in expressions like "The way teamworkers managing the things" which disrupt the flow of information. Paragraphing is present, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs lacks flexibility. Achieving a higher band would require a clearer logical progression, a wider and more accurate range of cohesive devices, and smoother transitions between sentences and paragraphs.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is minimally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate basic ideas about the removal service. There are attempts to use less common items, such as "securely packed," but these are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and spelling, including "tranported," "accpecting," "teamworkers," and "experiance." Additionally, phrasing such as "make an arrangements" and "less waste of time" shows limited control over word formation and natural collocations. To reach the next band, you need to use a wider and more precise range of vocabulary with fewer errors in spelling and word choice, demonstrating better control over less common lexical items.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Your writing displays a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences with occasional attempts at complex forms that are often faulty, such as "what i was not accpecting" or "how your team members use stategies." There are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, including missing articles ("move my house furniture"), incorrect verb tenses ("day was move"), punctuation issues, and problems with prepositions and word order. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader and obscure the intended meaning. To improve your grammar score, you should focus on increasing sentence structure variety, reducing basic errors, and ensuring better control over verb forms and agreement.
