Dear Sir or Madam,

On that day, I had to move my goods to new apartment and I earlier decided to do these shift by myself. But due to some urgency in office, I had to call you in the morning. One of the employee Jasvir, did a great job as he is a very hardwork as well did all things as a family member. One thing that

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: the quick response and arrival of the staff, Jasvir’s help, and the truck breakdown. The complaint is especially clear, with the delay explained and a practical request for repair or replacement. The opening and closing also suit a formal letter. The praise for Jasvir is relevant, but it is not fully developed: “did all things as a family member” does not explain what he specifically did, and the sentence is left unfinished at “One thing that”. This means the main points are covered, but their development is uneven. To strengthen the letter, complete that thought and give one concrete example of Jasvir’s helpful actions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally understandable sequence: it introduces the feedback, describes the short-notice booking, praises an employee, and then raises a problem. Paragraphing helps distinguish the positive and negative aspects, and phrases such as “To start with” and “At the same time” guide the reader. However, the transition into the praise is disrupted by the incomplete sentence “One thing that”, while “I I trust this issue…” repeats the subject and weakens the closing. The move from the employee’s praise to the complaint could also be made more deliberate. Complete the unfinished sentence, remove the duplicated “I”, and use clear paragraph breaks to make each requested point easy to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main events and evaluation, including “short notice”, “disappointed”, and “resolved”. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “transport’s bad condition”, but several choices are unnatural or imprecise and make the letter less fluent. For example, “goods” is less suitable than “belongings” for household possessions, and “hardwork” does not naturally describe an employee. Spelling and word-form slips such as “wiil” and “hardwork” also affect accuracy. Aim for natural collocations and precise service-related vocabulary, while keeping the tone formal. The meaning is generally recoverable, but more accurate phrasing would make your feedback clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including the explanation beginning “But due to some urgency in office…” and the conditional request, “I would really appreciate it if…”. However, control is inconsistent, and some errors make parts of the letter difficult to read. Examples include “I I trust”, the unfinished construction “One thing that”, and “it if you would be repair your truck”, where the verb pattern is faulty. There are also problems with articles and sentence construction in “move my goods to new apartment” and “your staff was at my doors”. Review verb patterns after “would”, article use, and sentence boundaries. Proofreading for repeated words and incomplete clauses would improve accuracy.
