Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 2.5

The response begins appropriately and gives one relevant positive detail: fragile items arrived safely without breakages. However, it stops mid-sentence at “I would particularly like to praise your”, so the employee is not identified or praised, and the requested aspect of the service that disappointed you is entirely missing. The explanation of what went well is also very limited. The authoritative length check confirms that the response is 92 words below the 150-word minimum, leaving the letter substantially incomplete. To address the task, complete all three points, add specific details about the moving day, and finish with a suitable closing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The opening establishes the purpose of the letter, and the positive comment follows in a broadly sensible order. However, the response ends abruptly in the middle of “I would particularly like to praise your”, so there is no completed progression through the requested points or closing. With only a few sentences, paragraphing and linking are not developed enough to guide the reader through the feedback. Organise the letter into short paragraphs—for example, one describing the move, one praising the employee, and one explaining the problem—and use clear links between these ideas. Completing the final sentence would also make the message feel more coherent and finished.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary communicates the basic topic, with relevant expressions such as “fragile items” and “without any breakages”. There are also attempts at more formal wording, including “particularly like to praise”. However, some choices are unnatural for this context: “give my feedback to you for the services” and “shift my apartment” do not express the intended meaning idiomatically. “Labour” is also an unsuitable way to refer to an individual employee. The short, unfinished response provides little evidence of range or flexible word choice. Prefer natural collocations such as “provide feedback on your service”, “move my belongings”, and “a member of your team”, then add precise vocabulary for the service issue.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response includes a correctly formed opening sentence, “I am writing to give my feedback…”, and a complex clause in “who made sure that all the fragile items reached the destination safely”. These show some control of sentence construction. However, the range is narrow, and the final sentence is incomplete: “I would particularly like to praise your” has no object or completed idea. The opening also uses an awkward grammatical pattern in “feedback to you for the services”; revise it to “feedback on the service your company provided”. Develop a few complete sentences with varied structures, and check that each sentence has a finished main clause before ending the letter.
