Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you describe the movers placing furniture where you wanted it, praise John for following your instructions, and explain that the team arrived two hours late. These details make the letter relevant and its purpose clear. However, the positive feedback is more fully covered than the complaint: the delay is mentioned, but you do not explain how it affected your move or what response you would like from the company. The praise of John is also quite general, despite the useful example that he followed your instructions. Develop these points with one or two specific details, and use a suitable closing request or expectation to make the feedback more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: you introduce your purpose, give positive feedback, identify John’s contribution, and then mention the delay. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these points, and phrases such as “So now” signal a move to the complaint. Some connections are mechanical or unclear, however. For example, “well” and “So now” do not create especially smooth transitions, while “i hope you find my letter soon” does not clearly connect to the feedback or provide a natural closing. Organise the points with clearer transitions and finish with a conventional sign-off. Within paragraphs, make the relationship between ideas explicit rather than relying on repeated “and” constructions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough task-related vocabulary to communicate the main message, including “furniture,” “service,” “appointment,” and “late.” The wording is generally understandable, but the range is limited and several choices or spellings reduce precision and naturalness. For instance, “in the regard of your company help” is an awkward way to describe the reason for writing, and “very good man from nature” does not express John’s helpful manner naturally. There are also noticeable spelling errors such as “realted,” “preety,” and “evrything.” Build a more precise set of phrases for giving feedback, describing staff conduct, and reporting a service problem, and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

Your message is mostly understandable, and you attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “I told him everything once and he did everything…” However, sentence structures are largely simple, and some grammatical errors make parts difficult to follow. In “the employeer are very helpful the did very good job,” the subject and verb do not agree, and two clauses run together without punctuation. Other examples include “i booked appointment with you of 8 oclock” and “they came late with two hours late,” where articles, prepositions, and sentence construction need attention. Use a wider mix of accurate sentence patterns, check subject–verb agreement and articles, and punctuate separate clauses clearly.
