Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 2.5
The letter gives a generally positive reaction and mentions that the workers handled the move smoothly, which partly addresses what went well. However, it does not fulfil two key instructions: no individual employee is identified or praised, and no aspect of the service is described as unsatisfactory. The comment that you were “full free” is unclear and does not explain a specific successful part of the move. The response is also below the required 150 words, so there is not enough detail to develop the requested points. To improve, describe one concrete success, name and explain how a helpful employee assisted you, and clearly state one problem and its effect, while keeping the letter focused on the company’s service.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
The response has a recognisable letter format, with an opening, a main section about the service, and a closing thank-you. The ideas about the workers and recommending the company are broadly related, so the reader can follow the positive overall message. However, the main paragraph combines many points in one long sequence, with little punctuation or clear separation, and the quoted statement about “responses” interrupts the flow and seems unrelated to a house move. Connections such as “and” are repeated, while the requested praise and complaint are not organised as distinct points. Use separate paragraphs for the successful aspects, the employee, and the concern, and link each idea clearly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “workers,” “instructions,” “shifting apartment,” and “recommend your company,” and the reader can understand that you were pleased with the help. However, the range is limited and several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, such as “your company presence was such a good” and “they will be happy by using your service.” “Good” and “support” are repeated rather than replaced with more specific language about moving services. The spelling slip “tadk” also affects accuracy. Build a more precise range for describing the move, staff assistance, and a service problem; for example, explain that belongings were handled carefully or that a particular item arrived late.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The response attempts to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example, “shifting apartment is such a difficult task but by the support of your company, the task was easy.” This shows an effort to express cause and contrast, but sentence control is weak: several clauses run together, and punctuation does not reliably mark their boundaries. There are also missing or incorrect grammatical forms in “hope this letter finds you well as soon,” “the all workers have done,” and “yesterday I was full free, has only work to give instructions.” These errors make parts of the message difficult to interpret. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses, checking articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries.
