Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you regarding the incredible service which was delievered to me by "Move the Furniture at ease" company for shifting my furniture and other important possessions to the apartment which I recently moved in. With5 plus years of experience in this field, i would particularly want to higlight company's willingness to answer my smallest query with complete details. In addition, the staff reached on time and were well trained on how to move each items with utmost care and safety.

I would want to appreciate one of the staff member's inter-personal skills in co-ordianting and executing the task in efficient way with other team members in hassle free way. I would definitely want to fill the feedback form pertaining to his job role.

Although the service was delievered on time and with complete assistance, I would want to enumerate certain issues with the front office department regarding answering queries for future service. I would suggest that company can give them necessary training and assure the customers on details regarding future services.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you describe punctual, careful staff and helpful responses to queries, praise a team member’s coordination, and identify problems with the front office’s answers about future services. The positive account is reasonably clear, and the suggestion to train the front-office team gives the complaint a useful purpose. However, the praise is not fully personalised because you do not name or otherwise identify the employee, and the specific help they provided remains general. The complaint is also somewhat unclear: it would help to explain what information was missing or inaccurate and how this affected you. These details would make the letter’s ideas more fully developed while retaining its relevant, polite focus.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter has a clear overall progression: an opening account of the move, a paragraph praising a staff member, and a final paragraph raising a concern and suggesting improvement. Paragraphing supports the different purposes, and transitions such as “In addition” and “Although” help connect ideas. The reader can follow the main message throughout. Some linking is a little mechanical, however, and repeated phrases such as “I would want” make the flow less natural. The relationship between the employee’s helpfulness and the request to “fill the feedback form” is also not entirely clear. Use more varied, direct transitions and make references explicit—for example, state clearly that you would like the company to pass your praise to the employee.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range for a formal feedback letter, including phrases such as “utmost care and safety,” “inter-personal skills,” and “necessary training.” These choices communicate the intended praise and recommendation, and the meaning is generally clear. Some less common expressions are inaccurate or awkwardly collocated, including “service which was delivered to me,” “reached on time,” and “in hassle free way.” There are also spelling errors, such as “delievered,” “higlight,” and “Sincerly,” which reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Aim for natural, precise combinations and check spelling carefully; simpler expressions such as “the service you provided” and “arrived on time” would sound more fluent and professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including the contrast introduced by “Although” and the relative clause in “the apartment which I recently moved in.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur. For example, “each items” needs singular agreement (“each item”), and “one of the staff member’s” should be “one of the staff members.” The phrase “the apartment which I recently moved in” needs a preposition at the end (“moved into”), while “in efficient way” needs an article (“in an efficient way”). Capitalisation and punctuation also need attention, particularly the lowercase “i” and the spacing around “With5.” Review agreement, articles, and sentence-level editing to improve control.
