Student answer (Band 6.5)
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing a feedback of the provided services to transport my belongings, such as furniture to my new apartment.
I would grately appreciate the service that your company provided me. Driver was punctual and was very polite. He assissted me with honesty and even guided me about the area. Although I was little late, your staff member waited patiently for me.
I was extremely satisfied with the services as your employee helped me to load-unload all the furniture. Although It took more than the booked time, your employee have not charged for the extra service and time.
Everything went well except one thing. The company changed the driver's pickup location without prior notice. It was inconvenient for both of us. Due to this I had to contact customer support centre several times. Please look into this and take the necessary steps to improve your services in the future.
Thank you in the anticipation.
Yours faithfully,
Reena

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
You address all three points clearly: the move went well because the driver was punctual and polite, you praise the employee for helping with loading and unloading, and you identify the unannounced pickup-location change as a problem. The specific detail that the employee waited while you were late and did not charge for extra time helps support your positive feedback. Your complaint also explains its consequence—having to contact customer support several times—and asks the company to improve. To make the response more fully developed, clarify which employee you are praising (the driver or another staff member) and give a little more detail about how the pickup change affected the move. The purpose and tone remain clear throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening purpose, positive comments, and then the complaint and request for action. The contrast introduced by “Everything went well except one thing” helps the reader follow the shift in focus, and the closing is appropriate. Some links are less smooth or precise, however. “Although I was little late” and “Although it took more than the booked time” repeat the same linking pattern, while the relationship between the driver and “your employee” is not always clear. There is also a missing space after “thing.” Improve progression by grouping the praise for the same employee together and using a wider range of natural transitions and clearer references.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the purpose and includes relevant service-related terms such as “punctual,” “customer support centre,” and “prior notice.” These choices make the positive feedback and complaint understandable. There are some inaccurate or unnatural word choices and collocations, including “a feedback,” “grately appreciate,” and “load-unload”; these reduce naturalness even though the meaning is generally clear. Spelling errors such as “grately” and “assissted” also show that word forms need closer checking. Aim for precise, conventional phrases used in formal correspondence, and proofread spelling. For example, “provide feedback,” “greatly appreciate,” and “load and unload” would express your meaning more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple sentences and more complex forms, including clauses beginning with “Although” and the cause-and-effect sentence starting “Due to this.” Most of the message remains easy to understand, but some grammatical errors persist. Examples include the missing article in “Driver was punctual,” “I was little late,” and the incorrect verb form in “your employee have not charged.” The sentence “I am writing a feedback” also has an article/countability problem. Check subject–verb agreement and article use, and ensure punctuation is spaced correctly, as in “one thing. The company.” More consistent control of these points would make the letter smoother and more accurate.
