Student answer (Band 6.0)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to give you feedback on the service your company render to me during the time i relocated to my new apartment. you people's service was awesome generally.
On August 3rd 2026, your firm plays a vital role to make sure everything went well, especially the way your workers handled my property carefully to make sure non was damaged. Your staffs came to my house very Early in the morning on above date to move my property to the new building with a Good van and an experience works. It excited me because it makes the task easier and safer.
Your worker Emmanuel is a good ambassador to your firm, because he is sincere and hand working too, he organized other workers and also brings beautiful ideas on how the work will be done faster and accurately.
In conclusion, i praised your firm for acting professionally in discharging your duties, one thing that got me sad was your firm insisting on cash payment rather mordeneway of payment, for example mobile transfer.
Kind regards,
Howell Howell.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you describe careful handling of possessions and an early arrival, praise Emmanuel for coordinating the team, and identify cash-only payment as a concern. The purpose is clear and the tone is generally appropriate for feedback to a company. The praise is supported with some detail, particularly Emmanuel’s role in helping the work proceed faster. However, the positive account is somewhat general, and the complaint could be explained more fully—for example, why cash payment was inconvenient or what payment options you would prefer. This covers the task effectively, while fuller development and more precise supporting detail would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall progression: an opening statement, a paragraph about moving day, a separate paragraph praising Emmanuel, and a closing comment that includes the complaint. This paragraphing helps the reader follow the main points, and phrases such as “especially” and “In conclusion” signal relationships between ideas. Some connections are less smooth, however. The first paragraph combines the purpose and a broad evaluation, while the final paragraph moves quickly from praise to dissatisfaction. The sentence about Emmanuel also contains several actions in one sequence, making the relationship between them less clear. Use more natural transitions and separate contrasting feedback so that the organisation feels less formulaic and the progression is consistently easy to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “handled my property carefully,” “organized other workers,” and “acting professionally,” which communicates the main points. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “a good ambassador” and “discharging your duties.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “your company render to me,” “an experience works,” and “hand working.” “Modern way” is also misspelled and does not fit naturally in “modern way of payment.” These choices sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning is usually recoverable. Aim for precise, conventional phrases for removal services and payment methods, and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the main message remains understandable. For example, the sentence beginning “Your worker Emmanuel…” links his personal qualities with his contribution to the team. However, there are some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. In “your firm plays a vital role” and “it makes the task easier,” the past event calls for consistent past-tense forms. “Your staffs came” also has a plural agreement problem, and the opening paragraph begins a new sentence with lowercase “you.” The final sentence joins contrasting ideas with a comma, so it would be clearer as two sentences or with a suitable conjunction. Review tense consistency and sentence punctuation while retaining your attempts at longer structures.
