Student answer (Band 6.0)

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to provide feeback regarding my laugage transfer from Rawalpinsi to Islamabad. Although I am satisfied with your service especially with one of your worker, but there are some aspects which you need to improve in order to make it more better.

I had to move my stuff from one city to another, and my freind told me about your company. Overall my experinec with your company was good. Firstly, employers packed everything in a proper way than they shifted them into the vehicles. they organized every thing in such a way there was no damage during the whole transfer. Secondly, they arrived with same booking time, so i did not face any inconvenience related to time management.

I would like mention one employee who is really hardworking and dedicated. I had some delicate utensills, paintings and books, which have a special place in my heart. He handled these stuff very carefully by wrapping everything separately, which required extra effort and time but he did it so precisely.

The one thing that i want to highlight about this event is that your vehicle size was not appropriate according to the laugage. While booking i gave a detail reagarding my stuffs. During transfer we had to face inconvenience to put goods in vans. So, please next time make sure to send appropriate vans according to the size of stuff.

It would be gratefull to t

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three requested points: it describes careful packing and timely arrival, praises an employee for protecting delicate belongings, and explains dissatisfaction with the vehicle size. The praise is supported with a specific example—he wrapped the paintings, utensils and books separately—which makes this point particularly clear. The complaint is also actionable, as you ask the company to match vans to the amount of property. However, the opening gives background about how you found the company rather than developing the positive service details, and the final sentence is cut off (“It would be gratefull to t”), leaving the letter without a complete closing or final expression of thanks. Completing that ending and extending the service feedback slightly would make the response more fully developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The information is arranged in a generally clear sequence: an opening statement, a paragraph about the move, praise for an employee, and a paragraph about the problem. Connectors such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Overall” help the reader follow the account, and paragraphing separates the main points. At times, however, the linking feels mechanical, and the opening’s contrast (“Although … but”) makes the relationship between ideas less clear. Some references are also imprecise, such as “these stuff,” while the final sentence ends abruptly, disrupting the letter’s progression and sense of completion. Use a more natural range of transitions, make references explicit, and finish with a complete closing sentence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main events and concerns, including “delicate,” “dedicated,” “wrapping,” and “inconvenience.” These choices show some range beyond basic description. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “feeback,” “laugage,” “experinec,” and “reagarding,” and several expressions are not natural in this context: “luggage transfer,” “your worker,” and “make it more better.” “Stuff” is also repeated and is too informal or imprecise for a feedback letter about household belongings. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the message, but they limit precision and fluency. Check spelling carefully and choose conventional collocations such as “removal service,” “employee,” and “belongings.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

The response attempts a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, for example, “Although I am satisfied … there are some aspects” and the sentence explaining how the employee wrapped the items. The main meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. The opening uses both “Although” and “but” in the same construction; “I would like mention” is missing “to”; and “they arrived with same booking time” needs an article and a more suitable grammatical construction. There are also inconsistent capitalisation and punctuation, such as lowercase “they” after a full stop and “i” throughout. The unfinished final sentence further affects accuracy. Practise complete clause structures, articles, and consistent sentence punctuation while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
