Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 2.5

You begin to address the request by describing careful handling, wrapping and packing, and you offer general praise for the company. However, the response is very incomplete: it does not identify or praise a particularly helpful employee, and it does not mention any aspect of the service you were unhappy with. The opening also does not follow the required “Dear Sir or Madam” greeting. The response contains 78 words, so it falls substantially short of the required 150; this leaves too little space to develop the requested points. To improve, cover all three bullet points explicitly, add specific details about the employee and the problem, and finish with an appropriate closing.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The ideas are related to the moving service, and the sequence from reliability to handling and packing is understandable. However, the response is presented as one short block, with no clear progression towards the requested feedback about an employee or a service problem. Repeated use of “You guys” makes the writing sound list-like rather than connected, while the fragment “The container is well spaced and. Easy to managed by you guys” interrupts the flow. Use separate paragraphs for positive aspects, the helpful employee, and the concern, and connect details with clear transitions. A conventional opening and closing would also make the letter feel complete and better organised.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for a moving service, including “furniture,” “wrapped,” “boxed,” and “reliable,” so the reader can understand the general positive message. The range is nevertheless limited, and several choices are repetitive or imprecise: “You guys” appears repeatedly, “mover company” is not a natural expression, and “all things” is vague. “Perfect size boxes, cartons” also sounds awkward and does not clearly distinguish the packing materials. Choose more precise, natural phrases such as “removal company,” “our belongings,” and “appropriately sized boxes.” A broader range would help you describe the employee’s contribution and the service issue clearly and professionally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response mainly uses short, simple statements, such as “You guys are so reliable” and “You guys wrapped all things properly.” There is an attempt to combine ideas in “The container is well spaced and. Easy to managed by you guys,” but the sentence is incomplete and the punctuation breaks the structure. The phrase “Easy to managed” also has an incorrect verb form; after “is,” use a past participle, as in “is easy to manage.” The opening sentences would benefit from clearer sentence boundaries, and the letter needs a wider range of accurately formed sentences. Practise joining related details with conjunctions and checking verb forms and punctuation before submitting.
