Student answer (Band 6.5)
Dear Sir,
I am writing a letter to give feedback about moving service which I recently received from your company.
I am very happy when all workers arrived on time and packed all the items carefully. They also marked the boxes with fragile label in which kitchen crocekery is packed. They worked quickly and moved heavy furniture carefully to my new apartment.
I would especially thankful your employee Jot who is not only helpful but also politely and kind hearted. he helped me to pack all items safely and answers all questions in a polite manner. I really appreciated his patience level.
However, I am dissatisfied from one service which is less space in the vehicle. Company's employee face lots of problem while loading the furniture in the truck due to congested area. Moreover, truck carry only limited items at one time and it may wastage of time.
Overall, I am satisfied from your other services and i would recommended your company to my friends.
Yours faithfully,
Qwerty

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three required points and maintains a clear, appropriate purpose. You explain what went well by noting that the workers arrived on time, packed items carefully and handled heavy furniture safely; you also identify Jot and describe his assistance. The complaint about limited vehicle space is relevant and includes its effects on loading and time. These details make the response clear and supported. To strengthen it further, develop the praise and complaint with a little more specific explanation—for example, how Jot’s help made the move easier, or what practical change you would like the company to make. The overall evaluation is clear, though the closing recommendation is brief.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The information is organised in a clear sequence: purpose, positive aspects, praise for an employee, a concern, and an overall conclusion. Paragraphing helps the reader distinguish these points, and transitions such as “However” and “Overall” guide the progression. The letter is easy to follow from beginning to end. To make the organisation more polished, connect some details within paragraphs more smoothly and avoid relying mainly on simple linking phrases. For instance, the sentence about the truck carrying limited items could be linked more explicitly to the earlier difficulty loading furniture. Consistent capitalisation at the start of sentences would also support a more professional presentation.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for a service-feedback letter, including relevant terms such as “fragile,” “heavy furniture,” “dissatisfied,” and “congested area.” The meaning is generally clear, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision: “moving service,” “fragile label,” “patience level,” and “wastage of time” are not natural in these contexts, while “crocekery” is misspelled. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise phrases such as “removal service,” “fragile stickers,” and “caused delays” would make the feedback sound more fluent and professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple sentences and attempts at more complex structures, such as “who is not only helpful but also…” and “while loading the furniture…”. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. Examples include “I would especially thankful” (missing “be”), “he helped… and answers” (inconsistent verb forms), and “truck carry” (subject–verb agreement). There are also problems with articles and sentence construction, as in “I am dissatisfied from one service which is less space in the vehicle.” Work on complete verb patterns, consistent tense, and agreement, then proofread sentence by sentence. These corrections would make your varied structures more controlled.
