Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing reasons for excessive clothes buying and offering solutions, though the essay cuts off prematurely in the conclusion. Your introduction outlines the main points, but the length requirement of 250 words is not met as the text stops at 238 words and is incomplete at the end ("becaus"). Ideas regarding social media influencers and online shopping are relevant and extended, but the statistical example provided for India ("65% people are investing their 50000 rupees everyday") lacks believability and precision. Because the essay is under length and unfinished, development is restricted, resulting in a band score of 5.5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a generally coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, dividing the introduction, reasons, and solutions effectively. Cohesive devices such as "The first and foremost reason," "Moreover," and "Secondly" are used to signal logical progression. However, referencing is occasionally imprecise, and the sudden truncation in the final sentence disrupts the overall cohesion. Paragraphing is adequate, but the lack of a finished conclusion impacts the logical flow. Overall, the organizational structure is visible and generally functional, earning a band score of 6.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common phrases such as "social media influencers," "recycling programs," and "clothing consumption." However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, such as "scorolling" instead of scrolling, "unverisity" instead of university, "busy" instead of buy, and "serveral" instead of several. These lexical inaccuracies and typos detract from the precision of the writing, though they do not completely impede communication. These limitations place the lexical resource firmly at a band 6.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as "The Government should educate people about recycling and focus on regulations which can save the environment in future." There are several grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, including "online shopping has been made easier for individuals to buy... by staying at house" and "retailers will have explaintions to give their shoppers to busy limited clothes." Punctuation errors are also present, such as the misplaced comma in "In India, For example." Despite these errors, the structures used do not severely impede understanding. This profile matches a band 6.0.
