From my perspective, the main reason behind this issue is that people want to look different than others, which inssit to collect more unique and fashionable attires. However, this issue can be resolved by spreading awareness about the harmful impacts on our enviornmnet during the manufacturing process of these expensive clothes.

To begin with, the primary reasons behind this problem are excessive wealth and desire to look trendy. In recent times, in many wealthy nations, people like to wear the fashionable and stylish clothes. As a result, this desire encourage them to make a new collection of clothes after a short time. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response addresses the prompt only partially and fails to meet the minimum length requirement, containing 204 words instead of the required 250. While the writer identifies reasons for excessive clothing purchases—such as the desire to look trendy and unique—and briefly mentions awareness campaigns as a solution, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. Furthermore, the second body paragraph cuts off abruptly mid-sentence, leaving the discussion incomplete. To reach a higher level, the writer must ensure the word count requirement is met, fully develop both parts of the prompt with extended explanations and relevant examples, and provide a complete conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response demonstrates some basic organization with an introduction and paragraph transitions like 'To begin with' and 'Conversely'. However, there is no clear overall progression due to the incomplete conclusion and abrupt ending of the text. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or mechanically applied, and referencing is occasionally unclear. For instance, 'this issue' and 'they' are used in ways that sometimes muddy the exact reference. To improve, the writer needs to ensure logical sequencing throughout the entire piece, use cohesive devices more naturally, and include properly structured paragraphs that carry ideas through to a logical, complete conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic message. There are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, such as 'advancemnet', 'acess', 'gatherering', 'inssit', 'attires', 'enviornmnet', 'glamouras', and 'differnt', which cause some difficulty for the reader. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items like 'manufacturing process' and 'awareness campaigns', but these are undermined by frequent lexical slips and incorrect word forms. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to expand their lexical range, use words with correct collocations, and eliminate spelling mistakes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response displays a limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside a few attempts at complex forms that are often faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and articles that can cause difficulty for the reader, such as 'the fashionable and stylish clothes', 'this desire encourage', and missing articles in phrases like 'in many western countries, such as the U.K, the U.S.A'. Punctuation is also weak, particularly regarding commas and run-on phrasing. To progress, the writer must exercise better control over basic sentence structures, subject-verb agreement, and articles while increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences.
