Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both parts of the question: social media and the desire to attract attention are given as reasons for buying too many clothes, while sharing, renting and government restrictions are suggested as solutions. These ideas are relevant, and the examples of reels and clothing for festivals, weddings and travel help illustrate the trend. However, the explanations remain limited: for instance, you do not explain how renting or sharing could become more appealing, and restricting purchases is proposed without showing how this would work. The opening is also difficult to follow and does not establish a clear focus. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation or a specific example, and make the proposed solutions more practical.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to reasons and then solutions, and phrases such as “As a result” and “In addition” signal relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. The long paragraph about social media combines online earnings, content creation, reels and occasion-specific clothing without clearly separating or prioritising these points. Some links are also awkward or incomplete, such as the sentence beginning “Which is main reason,” which does not connect smoothly to the previous sentence. Use one central idea per paragraph, make references explicit, and connect each explanation to the question. A clearer sequence—causes first, then practical solutions—would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “social media,” “followers,” “trends,” “renting” and “wastage of fabrics,” so the reader can generally understand your subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “access buying” for excessive purchasing, “special attaire” and “diferent kind of dreeses.” Some expressions, such as “sophisticated in the environment of fashion,” are unclear or unnatural. Aim for precise, natural phrases rather than repeating “buy clothes” and “fashion.” Proofreading spelling and learning common collocations about consumer habits and clothing would make your ideas clearer and more effective.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a cause-and-effect structure in “As a result they need to buy clothes more than they required.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. For example, “Which is main reason” is a sentence fragment, while “Government also should restricted” has an incorrect verb form. There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “fashion has become essential part” and the long sentence beginning “In addition, people are very keen.” Practise building accurate clauses and checking verb forms, articles and punctuation. Shorter, controlled sentences would help you communicate your points more reliably.
