Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you explain that people imitate celebrities and social-media creators, and that changing fashions encourage purchases, then suggest awareness campaigns, responsible advertising, influencer role-modelling and clothing donation. These are relevant ideas and the response has a clear overall direction. However, some points are less fully explained than others. For example, you mention that people want to feel connected to society, but do not show how this leads to buying excessive quantities. The pollution argument also needs a clearer link to clothing production or disposal, and the donation suggestion helps reuse clothes more than it directly persuades people to buy fewer. Develop each point with a brief explanation or example to make the response more convincing and complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on reasons, two paragraphs of proposed measures, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “To conclude” help readers follow the main stages. However, some linking is mechanical, and the repeated references to “individuals” and “human beings” make the progression feel less natural. The second solutions paragraph also introduces influencers and donation programmes without clearly distinguishing how each would reduce purchases. Some references are unclear, as in “where the show up people,” so the reader has to infer the intended meaning. Use more precise links between each claim and its explanation, and organise the solutions around distinct measures.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “content creators,” “newly-introduced attire,” “awareness programs,” and “decompose,” which shows some range beyond basic clothing terms. However, word choice, collocation and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make the message difficult to interpret. Examples include “wearable material” for clothing, “shopping unnecessary shoppping,” and “educate people with waterpollution.” There are also misspellings such as “immitate,” “Goverment,” and “infulencers.” Some expressions sound unnatural, including “fashion industry is exploding” and “feel connected or idealise themselves to the society.” Build a more reliable set of collocations for consumer behaviour and environmental effects, and proofread spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer structures, such as “They want to imitate them by wearing…” and “Furthermore, individuals can be made aware…”. This gives the response some structural variety, and the main ideas are generally understandable. However, complex sentences are not consistently controlled, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction recur. For example, “Government should to take initiatives” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “soil pollution that take place” does not agree in number. In “brands can come up advertisements,” the sentence structure is incomplete or malformed. Practise accurate patterns such as “should take action,” “pollution that occurs,” and “brands can create advertisements,” then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
