In many coutries, a lot of clothes are purchased by number of people goes trending these days. This notion get viral due to advancement in social media, however it will controlled by proper precsutions taken by the state and individuals.
One main reason behind why people buy too many clothes is the influance of social media. Celebrities and influencer wear new fasionable colthes everyday and encourage followers to follow the same trend. Due to this, people buy more clothes just look a fashion oriented person and get social media attension. As a result, people crate a habit to buy unnecessary items, even their wardroble was already full.
Another important cause is the availability of low price clothes produces by fast fashion companies such as Zara and Shein. They introduce new articals every week with minimal price as well as providing huge discounts on that. Owing to which, people purchased those clothes they may never actually need. Therfore, cheap clothes encourge people to waste their money and generate textile waste.

Apart from that, authority would not only encourage people to use thier garments as much as they can but also motivate them to repair their clothes and reuse it instead of dump it. If people understand environmental effect by clothes waste, they will be responsible consumer.
In conclusion, social media and fast changing trend are the main cause behind excessive buying of clothes, while educating people about environmental damage, motivates them to act as a reponsible consumers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses both questions and maintains a clear overall position: social media and fast fashion drive overbuying, while public education and reuse can help reduce it. The causes are relevant and supported with examples, including influencers promoting new styles and retailers such as Zara and Shein offering frequent low-cost releases. The proposed solutions are also appropriate, particularly explaining pollution and encouraging repair and reuse. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, the response says people buy clothes to look fashionable and gain attention, but could explain more clearly how these pressures lead to repeated purchases. The solutions would be stronger with a specific example of an awareness campaign or another practical measure.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, two paragraphs explaining causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. This makes the response easy to follow, and signposts such as “One main reason,” “Another important cause,” and “In conclusion” help identify the stages of the argument. There is also a generally logical progression from social-media influence to cheap fast fashion, then to ways of changing behaviour. Some linking is mechanical, however, and a few connections are unclear. For instance, “Owing to which” does not form a clear link to the preceding sentence, while “Apart from that” introduces a related solution without showing its relationship to public education. Use a wider range of natural transitions and clearer referencing to make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The response uses relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “fast fashion,” “textile waste,” “discounts,” “pollution,” and “reuse.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “influance,” “fasionable,” “attension,” and “consiquences.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “buy more clothes just look a fashion oriented person” and “provide awareness to public.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, for example, “buy clothes to look fashionable” and “raise public awareness.” More precise vocabulary for consumer behaviour and environmental impacts would also help express the ideas flexibly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
There is an attempt to use both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning “Due to this,” “Owing to which,” and “If people understand…”. The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors affect clarity. For example, “a lot of clothes are purchased by number of people goes trending” has an incomplete and confused structure, while “This notion get viral” has a subject–verb agreement error. Other examples include “people buy more clothes just look” and “authority would not only encourage… but also motivate,” where the verb patterns or sentence construction are faulty. Articles, plurals, and agreement also need attention, as in “people and student” and “a responsible consumers.” Practise building accurate complex sentences and checking verb forms and agreement.
