Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both parts of the question: you identify materialism and social-media influence as reasons for excessive clothing purchases, then suggest financial education and government awareness campaigns. The examples about influencers promoting clothes and the possible consequences of overspending are relevant. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For instance, the claim that people buy clothes to appear wealthy could be developed by explaining how status or pressure to fit in drives repeated purchases. The proposed lessons in budgeting are also broad; explain how they might change buying habits, or give a specific example of a campaign. Your response is on topic, but the causes and solutions are not equally developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, one on solutions, and a conclusion. This makes the main progression easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “For example,” and “In addition” help connect supporting points. The organisation is generally coherent, though some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, the shift from influencers to clothing companies’ sales is understandable but could be explained more explicitly, and “As a result” does not clearly show how the preceding example leads to the claim about earnings. The conclusion also ends abruptly and does not fully round off the proposed solutions. More precise referencing and smoother links between claims would strengthen cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “financial management,” “digital influencers,” “advertise,” and “negative consequences.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and you attempt less common expressions such as “materialistic approach.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “buy number of clothes,” “infront of others,” “clothing shopping,” and “reduce the buying of clothes.” Spelling errors such as “materalistic,” “beacuse,” and “complusary” are also noticeable. Some expressions, including “attires,” sound overly formal or unsuitable in this context. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; this will make your meaning more precise and fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “that,” and the overall meaning is usually clear. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. For example, “people buy number of clothes” needs an article, while “both guardian and tutors” has inconsistent number. The sentence beginning “Moreover, social sites are more responsible…” joins independent ideas with a comma, and “They should be aware of over spending can lead…” lacks a grammatical link between the clauses. The final sentence is also incomplete. Review article use, subject–verb agreement, and how to join clauses; these corrections would improve accuracy while preserving your attempts at complex structures.
