Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some other places individual purchase many clothings. Maybe because a lot of people fassionate of clothes they feel happy when they both new one.
At first people love to buy many clothes it because of trends for example on social media like tiktok influencer garments they addvertise so people having fun to follow what they saw on there idol .
Furthermore not only on social media a lot of actor / actres are showing off with there new dress style so individual who watching tv get admire what their idol looks like and then they start to buy more clothes that trends.
To reduce the garments they purchase make every clothes check quality and good design so it will not ruined easily and a person will wear it frequently, so people will reduce there interest to buy a new one .
Morever teaching people to spend money to what they needed the most for example, instead purchasing garments they will priorities the food on thier table or a sock of rice and a stock of grocceries for a month for this strategy they will avoid to buy the thing that not important just like clothes.
In my conclusion the reason behind people buy far too many clothes it is because the influence of social media and tv show because of popularity what they are wear there followers copy it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: social-media influencers and television celebrities are given as reasons for buying clothes, while better-quality garments and prioritising essential spending are suggested as ways to reduce purchases. These ideas are relevant, but they are only briefly explained; for example, the quality suggestion does not clearly show how consumers would be persuaded to buy fewer items. The conclusion repeats the influence of social media and television but does not summarise the proposed solutions. The response is also 21 words below the required minimum, so there is limited space to develop and support your points. Explain each solution more directly and add a specific example of how it could change buying habits.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an opening to reasons, solutions and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “At first,” “Furthermore” and “Moreover” help signal stages in the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the opening sentence is difficult to interpret, and the first solution shifts from checking garment quality to reducing interest without explaining the connection. Some links are also mechanical, and the conclusion repeats the reason rather than bringing both parts of the answer together. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each explanation explicitly to the question—for instance, show how durable clothing could reduce the need for frequent replacement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “trends,” “influencer,” “garments,” “quality” and “groceries,” so the reader can identify the subject and main ideas. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make parts difficult to understand, such as “fassionate,” “both new one,” “addvertise” and “a sock of rice.” Some expressions are also unnatural, including “what their idol looks like” and “the thing that not important.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling and word forms. More precise terms such as “fashion-conscious,” “buy new items” and “a sack of rice” would make your meaning clearer and more appropriate for this topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “for example.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For instance, “people love to buy many clothes it because of trends” combines clauses without a correct grammatical link, while “a lot of actor / actres are showing off” has problems with number and verb agreement. Other examples include “people having fun to follow” and “they will priorities,” where the verb forms are not controlled. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles and plural forms before adding extra clauses.
