Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the main situation by explaining that your neighbour plays video games late at night, describing effects on your sleep, health and work, and asking the agency to resolve the issue. However, the task is only partially covered because you do not say when the problem began, and your request is not specific about what action the agency should take. The statement that you may end your agreement communicates dissatisfaction, but it does not replace a clear request, such as contacting the neighbour or enforcing quiet hours. To strengthen the letter, include a timeframe for when the noise started and specify a practical action you expect the agency to take.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall arrangement: you introduce the complaint, explain its effects and your attempt to speak with the neighbour, then make a request and close politely. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages, and links such as “Therefore” and “Despite” show attempts to connect ideas. Some connections are awkward or unclear, however: “Despite, my several request the problem continues” does not link the ideas correctly, and the final paragraph combines the request, a conditional threat and thanks without a smooth progression. Use cohesive phrases accurately and give the requested action its own clear sentence. This would make the organisation more consistently logical and less dependent on basic linking.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the complaint, including “disturbances,” “negatively affecting,” and “cooperation.” There are also attempts at more formal language, which suits a letter to an agency. However, several word choices, collocations and spelling errors make the expression less natural or precise: “have a communication” and “satisficatory” are unclear, while “rental buidling” contains a spelling error. “Loud noise” is repeated, and “a lot of problems” is general. Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “raise the issue with my neighbour,” “satisfactory action,” and “excessive noise,” and check spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including a cause-and-effect sentence beginning “Therefore” and a conditional sentence about ending the agreement. However, errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. Examples include “I could not able to sleep” and “could not able to focus,” where the verb pattern is incorrect, and “The loud noise negatively affecting my health,” which lacks a finite verb. There are also problems with articles and number in “one of your tenant.” Practise accurate modal and past-tense forms, and check that every sentence has a complete verb. These corrections would make your meaning clearer while preserving your attempts at varied structures.
