Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The letter addresses the purpose of applying for an international job, but it fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While the tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, some ideas are under-developed. For instance, the claim that you can 'solve any issue within seconds' is hyperbolic and lacks professional credibility. To improve, ensure you expand on your specific skills and contributions to the company in more detail to meet the length requirement and provide a more convincing argument for your candidacy.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of your request. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Moreover' and 'Although' to link ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your referencing is precise. For example, the transition between your current role and your desire for an international position could be smoother to better connect your past experience with your future goals.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision expected at higher levels. Phrases like 'handsome salary' and 'do my best' are somewhat informal or generic. You rely on simple descriptors and occasionally struggle with collocations, such as 'performing in an international country' (working internationally would be more natural). To improve, try to incorporate more professional, industry-specific terminology related to supply chain management and international business to demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are several grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your writing. For example, 'I am want to try' is grammatically incorrect, and 'I have experienced from last three years' should be 'I have three years of experience'. You rely mostly on simple sentence structures. While you attempt some complex sentences, they often contain errors in verb tense or word order. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of present perfect tenses when discussing your work history.
