Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three required points: you say the noise began “from the past three days,” explain that it prevents sleep and concentration and caused you to miss a shift, and ask the agency to take action. The complaint is relevant and your request for a response is clear. However, the proposed action is not fully specific: “take some serious action” does not tell the agency whether you want it to contact the neighbour, issue a warning, or investigate. The suggestion that you would like your deposit back if the problem continues is also abrupt and does not clearly explain what outcome you expect. Develop this request and clarify the remedy you are seeking to make the letter more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally clear sequence: you introduce the complaint, explain when it started, describe its effects, and finish with a request. The paragraph breaks help distinguish the background from the impact and closing. Linking expressions such as “However” and “Moreover” show how points relate, although “Moreover” introduces a second consequence that could be connected more smoothly to the first. Some references are unclear, particularly “As you i shifited here for my job,” which makes the opening difficult to follow. The closing request also moves suddenly from asking for action to asking for your deposit back. Use clearer transitions and organise the final paragraph around one explicit, practical request.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main complaint, including “noise,” “neighbour,” “concentrate,” and “miss my shift.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less clear or less appropriate for a formal complaint: “neigbours,” “distrubtion,” “servious,” and “depoist.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “neighbour home” and “take some serious action.” Choose more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, “loud noise” could be expressed as “excessive noise,” and “take some serious action” as “intervene with the neighbour.” This would make your vocabulary more accurate and suitably formal.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the main message is usually understandable. However, some grammatical errors affect clarity. The opening sentence “As you i shifited here for my job this is causing numerous problem for me to stay here” has an unclear clause structure and missing punctuation. In “I moved here last week everything was perfectly fine,” two independent clauses are joined without a suitable connector or punctuation. There are also errors in verb forms and sentence construction, as in “i not only like” and “i could not concentrate also i had to miss my shift.” Practise separating complete ideas and using accurate past and present forms; clearer sentence boundaries would make the letter easier to read.
