Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main points: you say the noise has been happening “from few months,” explain that you cannot sleep and that it affects your health, and ask the agency to contact the neighbour. These details make the complaint relevant and its purpose understandable. However, some points are only partly developed: the start of the problem is vague, and the request could specify a practical action, such as investigating the noise or enforcing quiet-hour rules. The threat to call the police and go to court is abrupt and does not clarify what outcome you want from the agency. The greeting also differs from the required “Dear Sir or Madam,” and the letter would benefit from a more consistently formal tone.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The information follows a broadly sensible order: you introduce yourself and the problem, describe its effects, and then make a request. Basic links such as “However” and “If” help show relationships between ideas. However, the response is presented as one continuous block, so the complaint, its impact, and the requested action are not clearly separated into paragraphs. Several ideas are crowded into long sentences, making the progression harder to follow—for example, the sentence beginning “I try to talk him” combines your attempts to resolve the issue, your family situation, and your work. Use separate paragraphs and clearer sentence boundaries, with linking phrases that guide the reader through the letter.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic complaint, including “gaming noise,” “kids,” “doctor,” and “agency.” You also attempt more formal expressions such as “take this complain seriously.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader pause, as in “lurd,” “polution,” “notise,” and “suchtion.” Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, including “make same less noise” and “I work all day at the night.” Build accuracy with common formal complaint collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you describe the disturbance and request action without relying on unclear phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, using forms such as “because,” “However,” and “If,” but these complex attempts are often faulty. Errors in tense and sentence construction appear in “Last year i rent this flat” and “I try to talk him few time”; articles and prepositions are also missing or incorrect in phrases such as “from few months” and “next to my flat 67.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, and several clauses run together without clear sentence boundaries. These errors can make parts of the letter difficult to interpret. Practise accurate past and present forms, complete sentence patterns, and punctuation, then build longer sentences from those reliable structures.
