Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main situation and make a clear request for the agency to act, so the purpose of the letter is understandable. You also explain that the noise began two days ago and say it makes it difficult to sleep. However, the effects are only briefly described, and the request—“take some actions” and “give me a solution”—does not specify what you want the agency to do, such as contact the neighbour or enforce quiet hours. The report that another resident has complained is relevant but not developed. The response is also 16 words below the required minimum, which limits how fully you can explain the problem and your requested solution. Add specific details to cover each point more completely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The information follows a generally understandable order: you introduce the noise, describe its effect, mention another resident’s complaint, and ask the agency to respond. However, the letter is presented as one long paragraph, so the stages of the message are not clearly separated. Several ideas are joined with full stops or commas where clearer sentence boundaries would help, and the transition from your own experience to the other neighbour’s complaint is abrupt. The repeated use of “noise” and “so” also makes the linking feel limited. Use short paragraphs for the problem, its impact, and your request, and connect related details with clearer referencing and transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the basic issue, using relevant terms such as “loud noise,” “video games,” and “take some actions.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the letter less natural—for example, “a noise of video games” and “complaint about them.” There are also spelling errors, including “alraedy” and “accomodation,” and the repeated use of “noise” reduces variety. Aim for more precise phrases suited to a formal complaint, such as describing the sound as “loud gaming noise” and asking the agency to “address the disturbance.” Proofreading spelling and collocations would make your message clearer and more professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate the main points using mostly simple sentence patterns, but the range is limited and errors occur frequently, including in sentences that attempt to combine several ideas. For example, “it was started from last two days” has an incorrect verb form and time expression, while “the noise doesn't affects me only” has an agreement error and an unclear construction. Missing sentence boundaries in “Rajdeep Kaur.i” and inconsistent capitalisation also affect accuracy. Try using controlled sentence patterns such as “The problem began two days ago” and “The noise is affecting my sleep.” Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation before submitting.
