Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points and make the purpose of the letter clear: the neighbour’s gaming is loud late at night, it disrupts your sleep and work, and you want the agency to intervene. The detail that the problem has occurred “from pass few days” gives a timeframe, while your request for a “strict rule” indicates the action you expect. This meets the task well, and the personal effects help support your complaint. However, the start of the problem could be stated more clearly, and the requested action is not fully specified: for example, ask the agency to contact the neighbour and ensure quiet hours are observed. Developing that request and clarifying the timeline would make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally sensible order: you introduce the complaint, describe the neighbour’s behaviour, explain its effects, and then request action. Paragraphing helps separate the main stages, and phrases such as “Not only” and “Furthermore” show attempts to connect related points. However, some links are awkward or unclear, particularly “My flat number is 305 who recently shifted” and “the next day at office,” which make the progression harder to follow. The closing request and sign-off are also separated by a brief sentence fragment-like transition. Use clearer references and more natural transitions, and keep each paragraph focused on one purpose, to make the organisation smoother and less mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary to communicate the complaint, including “noise pollution,” “lower the volume,” “mental health,” and “intervert in this matter.” The reader can understand the main problem and its effects, but the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, or collocation errors reduce precision. Examples include “compained,” “appartment,” “neighbourhood” where “neighbour” is intended, and “carefull consideration.” Some phrases, such as “plays game at very loud music,” do not express the intended meaning naturally. Build a more accurate set of complaint-related expressions and check spelling and collocations; this will make the letter sound more fluent and appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the contrast in “Not only it effects my mental health but also…” This shows some range, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. For instance, “the flat number 306 … have plays” has incorrect agreement and verb form, while “Once I had requested” does not use the tense naturally for this context. The sentence about your work and the effects on your parents also needs clearer grammatical structure. Practise accurate past and present forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence patterns, then proofread punctuation and spacing.
