Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this later to complain you about the inconvenience that I'm facing in your rented flat. when I bought this apartment, you were suggested me to buy this flat because of peaceful environment.
Firstly, the neighbors who rented apartment from your agency, are playing late night video games with loud noise. whenever I come home from office at night the noise is a very loud. at the beginning I did not consider this noise. however, now I am getting Disturbed everytime at night.
Although, I'm preparing for my exam after my work and I need a silent atmosphere at night for study but I cannot concentrate on my studies because of the loud noise. I would appreciate it if you could talk with them regarding this problem and give them a final notice.
Thank you for your time and coordination.
Yours faithfully,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the main purpose by complaining about late-night gaming, explaining that it disrupts your exam preparation, and asking the agency to speak to the neighbours and issue a notice. However, the timing of the problem is not clearly explained: “at the beginning I did not consider this noise” does not say when it started or how long it has continued. The effect on you is relevant, but could be developed beyond difficulty concentrating. The opening also says you “bought” the flat, which conflicts with the task’s rental situation and makes your circumstances unclear. Clarify when the noise began and make the request more specific, such as asking the agency to enforce quiet hours or follow up if it continues.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable structure: an opening complaint, details about the noise, its effect, and a request, followed by a closing. This makes the overall message understandable. Paragraphing also separates the main points. However, progression is sometimes weakened by abrupt or unclear links. “Firstly” introduces the noise, but the next paragraph begins “Although” without completing a contrasting idea, and “however” does not clearly connect the change in your response to the earlier sentence. Some information is also difficult to follow because the opening shifts from renting to buying. Use clearer transitions and arrange the details in a direct sequence: when the noise began, what happens now, how it affects you, and what action you want.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “loud noise,” “peaceful environment,” “Disturbed,” and “concentrate on my studies,” so the reader can understand the complaint. There is some attempt to express the impact and make a formal request. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “complain you,” “bought this apartment,” and “give them a final notice.” Capitalisation is also inconsistent in “Disturbed.” These choices reduce precision and sometimes make the intended meaning less natural. Build a more reliable set of formal complaint phrases, for example “raise a complaint about,” “the noise has been disturbing my sleep,” and “issue a formal warning.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including “I would appreciate it if you could…” and a sentence explaining that the noise affects your studies. However, errors are frequent enough to make some sentences awkward or difficult to process. Examples include “when I bought this apartment, you were suggested me,” “the noise is a very loud,” and “Although, I'm preparing for my exam … but I cannot concentrate.” The last example combines two contrasting structures incorrectly. Sentence openings and punctuation also need attention, as several sentences begin with lowercase letters after full stops. Practise accurate past and present forms, articles, and complete clause structures; for instance, write “The noise is very loud” and “Although I am preparing for an exam, I cannot concentrate.”
