Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address all three requested points: you say the noise occurs late at night, explain that it affects your sleep and office work, and ask the agency to intervene. The complaint is relevant and your request for action is clear in intention. However, some details are limited or unclear. The task asks when the problem began, but “sometimes” and “next day” do not establish when it first started. Your requested action—“talk to they for matter”—also needs to be more specific, such as asking the agency to contact the neighbour and ensure quiet hours are respected. Developing these details would make the letter more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter has a recognisable structure: it introduces the complaint, describes its effects, and ends with a request. This helps the reader follow the general purpose. However, the progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to track, particularly in the long section about speaking to the neighbour and the noise continuing. Connections such as “But” and “sometimes” are used in ways that do not clearly show how the ideas relate, and several points are crowded into single sentences. Use separate paragraphs for the problem, its effects, and the action requested, and connect events in a clear sequence—for example, when you first spoke to the neighbour and what happened afterwards.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “excessive noise,” “late at night,” “sleep,” and “office work.” These choices make the main complaint understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less clear, such as “latter” for “letter,” “vidio games,” “hactik,” and “potistion.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “silent peacefull atmosphere” and “very affected my sleep.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, “the noise is disrupting my sleep” expresses the effect more clearly, while “quiet and peaceful environment” is a more natural phrase.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to combine ideas using clauses, as in “when I finish my work whole day and I came to my house,” and you use some simple sentences to communicate the main points. However, sentence structures are often faulty, and errors frequently make the reader work to understand the meaning. Examples include “my neighbour not some time always play,” “they not understand,” and “I am request to you.” Verb forms, subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries need more consistent control. Practise building clear sentences with a subject and correctly formed verb, such as “My neighbour often plays video games late at night” and “I would like to ask you to contact them.”
