Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inform you in regards to concern that I am currently facing from other resident who resides at your property. I am a respectful tenant living in your establishment from last 3 years at 128 Woodridge Crescent.

To begin with, I encountered with loud gaming and music noises from December 1st late at night. Initially, the sound was mild and low but after it became loud and persistent.

I wake up early in the morning as per my routine to follow my schedule accurately and precisely. In order to go for work on time, I have to sleep early and peacefully at night. However, irritating noise creates disturbance to my sleep which disrupts my next day time-table.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address the three requested points: you identify the noise as beginning on December 1, explain that it disrupts your sleep and next-day routine, and ask the agency to send a warning about its peace policy. These details make the complaint relevant and give the reader a clear sense of the problem. However, some parts are less fully developed: the start date is not anchored to a year or described in relation to how long the noise has continued, and the requested action is limited to a warning email. You could make the request more complete by asking the agency to investigate, contact the neighbour, and follow up if the noise continues. The letter’s purpose is clear, but fuller development of these points would make it more effective.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the complaint, explains when the noise began, describes its effect, and then makes a request. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “To begin with” and “However” signal relationships between ideas. At times, though, the linking feels mechanical or the connection between sentences is not fully clear. For example, “Initially, the sound was mild and low but after it became loud and persistent” does not clearly specify when or how the change occurred. The final request also moves quickly from the impact to proposed action. Use more direct transitions and connect the details of the noise, its consequences, and the agency’s next steps more smoothly.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for a formal complaint, including “persistent,” “disturbance,” and “property peace policy.” These choices communicate the main issue, and the tone is generally appropriate for writing to an agency. Some less common expressions are not used naturally, however: “in regards to concern” and “encountered with loud gaming and music noises” make the message less fluent, while “next day time-table” is an awkward choice for the effect on your routine. “Irritating noise” is understandable but could be more precise. Aim for natural collocations and concise wording, such as “I am writing to raise a concern” and “the noise is affecting my sleep.” This would improve precision while retaining your formal tone.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the conditional request “It would be much appreciated if you can send a warning email” and the sentence beginning “In order to go for work on time.” The main meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “from other resident” needs an article or plural form, and “living in your establishment from last 3 years” has an incorrect time construction; use “for the last three years.” In the request, “if you can” would be more consistent as “if you could,” and “reminds” does not agree with the implied subject. Review articles, prepositions, verb forms, and sentence completion. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen control.
