Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three required points and maintains a clear, appropriate request to the agency. You identify the start of the problem as “last week,” explain that the noise continues late into the night, and describe its effect on your sleep and workday. The request to warn the neighbours and set rules is relevant. Some details are less fully developed: “They played it till the morning” is a strong claim but could be made more precise, and the proposed rules about “what is good time to coming into the flat” are unclear and do not directly address gaming noise. To strengthen the letter, specify the hours and ask for a practical response, such as contacting the neighbour and enforcing quiet hours.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The information is arranged in a generally sensible order: you introduce the complaint, describe when it occurs, explain its impact, and make a request. This gives the reader a basic progression. However, the letter is presented as one continuous block, so the shift from the problem to its effects and then to the requested action is not clearly signposted. Some links are also awkward or repetitive, particularly the repeated reference to noise continuing “till in the morning.” Use separate paragraphs for the complaint, its effects, and your requested action, and connect ideas more naturally with phrases such as “As a result” or “Therefore.” The closing and salutation should also follow standard letter conventions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “noise pollution,” “volume,” “sleeping hours,” and “warn them,” so the main message is understandable. There are also attempts at more formal language, such as “I request you” and “implement some rule and regulation.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, and spelling errors such as “enyoying,” “deterimental,” “peacefull,” and “fusturated” make the writing less controlled. Some phrases, including “strict actions towards it” and “a play video games,” are difficult to interpret smoothly. Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “take action,” “the noise is affecting my sleep,” and “avoid playing games at a high volume.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a sentence explaining your work schedule and the effect of the noise. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “I hope you doing well” needs an auxiliary, while “the people who lives” has a subject–verb agreement error. “I wants to get your attention” also uses the wrong verb form, and “which put detrimental effect” has problems with agreement and article use. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb. More accurate complex sentences, such as “Because I start work early, the noise is affecting my sleep,” would improve clarity.
