Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the main points by saying the noise began in recent weeks, that the neighbour plays loud games at night, and that this affects your sleep and daily routine. You also ask the agency to intervene, so the purpose of the letter is clear. However, some parts are less fully explained: “few weeks” does not give a precise starting point, and the request to “make some adjustment” is unclear. The suggestion that the neighbour should not play “completly” is also quite extreme and could be framed more reasonably, such as asking the agency to remind them of quiet hours. A clearer, more specific request and fuller explanation of the impact would strengthen the response.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The ideas are broadly relevant and follow a sensible order: you introduce the tenancy, describe the noise, explain its effect, and ask the agency to act. However, the letter is presented as one long paragraph, and the many ideas joined with “and,” “but,” and “so” make the progression difficult to follow. Some links are also unclear, as in “I waited so many days but situation is getting worse and worse.” Use separate paragraphs for the background, the problem and its effects, and your request. Shorter sentences and clearer transitions such as “Since then” and “As a result” would make the relationships between points easier to understand.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic problem, including “loud video games,” “neighbour,” “disturbing,” and “daily routine.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the letter harder to read, for example “fubrished,” “seriouse,” “infrom,” and “disubbreing.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “make some adjustment for the neighbour” does not clearly state what action you want. Choose more precise phrases such as “contact the tenant,” “reduce the volume,” and “quiet hours.” Careful proofreading and more natural collocations would improve clarity and control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to combine ideas in longer sentences, and the reader can generally identify the main message. However, the long sentence structures are often faulty, and there are frequent problems with tense, sentence boundaries, and basic grammatical patterns. For example, “few months ago I have rented” mixes time references, while “at every night my neighbour start” has an incorrect preposition and verb form. The opening also runs several clauses together without clear punctuation. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then add a few controlled complex sentences. Check past-tense forms for the start of the problem and present-tense forms for its continuing effects.
