They started playing video games in the evening and keep playing upto wole night. I have tried talking with them to find a solution but it did not helped.
As I am in my final year of medical studies and have exams next month. I really need to concentarte on my studies whwnever, i tried to makeup my mind to start studying at night that loud voices fail my level of conecntration and loses my interest that leads to loss of my academic carrier and time as well. I cannot able to sleep at night too. I am really dissatisfied with this problem. Kindly a request to have a talk with my neighbours and ask them to reduce the noise at night or relocate my flat. I would be fine to change my location whatever possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three required points and maintains a clear, appropriate purpose: you explain that the disturbance happens almost every night, describe its impact on studying and sleep, and ask the agency to speak to the neighbours or relocate you. The detail about your medical exams helps explain why the noise is particularly serious. This gives the response clear development and support. To make the request more complete, specify when the problem first began; “They started playing video games in the evening” describes their routine but does not establish when this behaviour started. You could also state a preferred solution more firmly, while keeping relocation as a fallback.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information follows a sensible sequence: you introduce the complaint, identify the neighbour and describe the noise, explain its effects, then make a request and close politely. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “As I am in my final year” connect the circumstances to the impact. The progression is generally clear, though some sentences become crowded, particularly the long explanation beginning “As I am in my final year,” where several effects and consequences run together. This makes the relationship between ideas harder to follow. Use shorter sentences and clearer links—for example, separate the effect on concentration from the effect on sleep. More precise references to when the noise began would also strengthen the flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the complaint, including “disturbance,” “dissatisfied,” “reduce the noise,” and “relocate my flat,” so the reader can understand the main issue and requested action. However, the range and control are limited by noticeable spelling errors and several unnatural word combinations. Examples include “inconvience,” “concentarte,” and “academic carrier”; “loud music” is also not quite accurate when the problem is described as video-game noise. Some phrases, such as “makeup my mind to start studying,” do not express the intended meaning naturally. Aim for precise, conventional expressions used in formal complaints, and proofread spelling carefully. This would make your vocabulary more reliable and appropriate to the agency context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The letter attempts both simple and more complex sentences, including the explanation beginning “As I am in my final year,” and the request that the agency “ask them to reduce the noise.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the message difficult to read. For example, “I am writing to complaint you” has an incorrect verb pattern, “it did not helped” uses the wrong verb form, and “I cannot able to sleep” combines incompatible structures. There are also problems with articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries. Practise accurate patterns such as “I am writing to complain about,” “they did not help,” and “I am unable to sleep,” then check each sentence for a complete, correctly formed clause.
