Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the central issue—your neighbour plays video games loudly at night—and make a clear request for the agency to contact them and ask them to lower the volume. However, the task is only partly addressed because the start of the problem is not explained clearly: “when i visited first in place” suggests it was happening from your first visit, while “day by day they started playing so so loud” suggests it worsened later. Explain when the noise began and how it changed. You mention needing deep sleep and having a noisy workplace, but the effects could be developed more clearly, for example by stating whether the noise interrupts your sleep or affects your work the next day. A more specific request, such as asking the agency to remind the neighbour of quiet hours, would also strengthen the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a recognisable structure: you introduce yourself and the complaint, describe the noise and its effects, then make a request and close. This gives the reader an overall sense of progression. Some connections between ideas are unclear, however. The sentence beginning “Before, i said migrain” does not clearly link the migraine to the noise or explain what “Before” refers to. The contrast in “however, day by day” is also difficult to follow because the timeline is uncertain. Paragraphing helps separate the main points, but the ideas within paragraphs would be easier to follow if each paragraph focused on one purpose and used clearer links such as “Since then” or “As a result.”

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant language for a complaint, including “high volume,” “deep sleep,” and “keep the volume down.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or unclear choices make parts of the message difficult to understand. “Migration” appears to be an incorrect word for the effect of the noise, and “playing games” does not specify the repeated late-night disturbance as precisely as it could. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “neibhour,” “nabours,” “becase,” and “pleacse.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “loud gaming late at night,” “disturb my sleep,” and “reduce the volume,” and check spelling carefully before sending the letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, for example “I am really glad to stay at that accommodation but when i visited first in place…” However, the longer structures are often difficult to follow because of errors in sentence construction and tense. In “when i reach at my place that time i really need a deep sleep,” the tense and clause structure are not controlled; “when I get home, I need to sleep” would be clearer. Other examples include “the one who rents a flat” and “could you pleacse contact to my nabours,” where the sentence patterns and prepositions are not accurate. Capitalise “I,” use complete, clearly punctuated sentences, and practise linking clauses with a consistent tense. These changes would make your meaning more reliable.
