Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The letter addresses all three required points: it identifies the problem as beginning in October, explains that disrupted sleep affects your concentration and productivity at work, and asks the agency to speak with the neighbours and encourage quieter gaming after 9 p.m. These details make the purpose clear and the request practical. The impact is more fully explained than the start of the problem, which is only dated; you could clarify whether the noise began suddenly or has increased over time. The request would also be stronger with a specific next step, such as asking the agency to confirm that it has contacted the neighbour. The closing is polite, though a more conventional sign-off would better suit a formal complaint.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The message follows a clear progression: you introduce the complaint, describe its effects, make a request, and close with an expectation of action. The sequence is easy to follow, and phrases such as “In addition” help connect the proposed actions. The main opportunity is to make the paragraphing and links between ideas more deliberate. The long section beginning “Since the month of October” combines the start of the problem, its source, and its effects; separating these into shorter paragraphs would make each point easier to absorb. Some transitions, including “I am sure that team,” are less natural or precise than the rest. A conventional closing would also give the letter a more complete structure.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You communicate the central issue using relevant vocabulary such as “late night noises,” “disturbance in my sleep,” and “not able to concentrate.” There are also attempts at more formal language, including “draw attention” and “address this issue.” However, several spelling errors and awkward collocations reduce precision, for example “immence,” “adjucent apartment,” “a lot of people,” and “on priority bases.” “Noises” is less natural here than “noise,” while “moderate the level of noise” could be expressed more idiomatically as “keep the noise down.” Aim for accurate spelling and natural word combinations, and avoid unnecessary formal phrases that sound translated. This would make the complaint clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and longer sentences, including a cause-and-effect structure in “because of the disturbance in my sleep I am not able to concentrate at my work.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors are noticeable. Examples include “a issue” instead of “an issue,” “we are facing” where a past-to-present form such as “have been facing” is needed, and “if you have have word with them,” which has a repeated verb and a missing article. The long sentence about sleep and work would benefit from clearer punctuation or division into two sentences. Check articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries carefully; more consistent control of these basics would make your varied sentence forms more effective.
