Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you say the problem began after you moved in, explain that the noise affects your work and sleep, and ask the agency to take action or set a quiet-hours rule. These details make the complaint relevant and your request clear. The impact on your health is also mentioned, although the explanation could be more precise and developed. For example, specify the usual days and hours the gaming occurs, and state whether you want the agency to contact the neighbour, remind them of the tenancy rules, or take another concrete step. The response covers the task well overall, but some details are less fully developed than others, and the opening and closing could be more appropriately formal.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a recognisable progression from introducing the complaint, to describing its effects, and then requesting action. Paragraph breaks help separate these stages, and linking expressions such as “Firstly” and “Moreover” show how points relate. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear: “When i came from my job their music gona be start” does not clearly express the sequence, and “When i did not get get enough sleep it is dissturb my whol day” makes the relationship between ideas harder to follow. Use clearer time markers and avoid repeating the same effect in adjacent sentences. A more conventional formal opening and closing would also make the letter feel more cohesive and complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to a noise complaint, including “concentrate,” “proper sleep,” “lack of sleep,” and “take a serious action.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main problem, but the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations, and spellings make the letter less clear or natural. For instance, “plays loud music” does not match the task’s video-game noise, while “make a role” and “neighbours privacy or confort” do not express your intended meaning idiomatically. Spelling errors such as “middnight,” “dissturb,” and “phsicaly” are also noticeable. Build a bank of precise complaint phrases and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a sentence explaining that noise affects your work and sleep. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in verb forms, sentence construction, agreement, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “I rent a flat from your agency since the last month” needs a different tense construction, while “When i did not get get enough sleep it is dissturb my whol day” combines incompatible verb forms. The sentence beginning “I requested you please take” also needs a clearer grammatical structure. Practise accurate present and past forms, and build longer sentences around one clear main clause. Proofreading capitalisation and punctuation will improve readability.
