Student answer (Band 5.0)

In todays era, people were using home remidies or onilne cure for there health related issue rather than went to doctor.

In my poinion, I agree that it was negative development because, if people will don't go for checkups the risk of getting more infection or more health concern will be raised. For that people should always go to doctor and take proper medicine. For example, one person has been servive fever since last four to five days he was not going to the doctor as he thinks that it was a normal fever, but later on he gets high temprature in his body and feeling dozy, shivering body this symtops caused Maleria disease.

On the other hand, it has some positive side also, as many doctors just give extra meds for small health issues that has been cure with some home remidies. For example sneezing and coughing were the two health problem that has been cure at our house. But when it was not rose. Furthermore, people should always refer to a doctor instead of alternative medicine and treatment. second example, womens on there periods, they uses cloths to stop bleeding, but it causes infections on that part. So they must have to use sanitary pads, it do not cause any infections.

To conclude that, the growing number of people with health related problems were trying alternative medicines and treatments instead of visiting their family doctor in that I agreed that it was a negative development as it may concern about health problems.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that relying on alternative treatments is negative, and the fever example is relevant to the risk of delaying medical care. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the point about doctors prescribing extra medicine is not fully explained, and the menstrual-health example shifts to sanitary products rather than clearly addressing alternative treatment. The position also becomes less consistent when you say people should always see a doctor, without distinguishing minor complaints from serious symptoms. The response is 245 words, so it is five words below the required minimum; the nine words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each reason more directly and support it with a clear explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

Your response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to reasons, a contrasting point, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand,” “For example,” and “To conclude” help signal these stages. However, the overall progression is not always clear: the paragraph beginning “On the other hand” moves from doctors prescribing extra medicine to home remedies, then to periods and sanitary pads, without explaining how these points connect. Some references are also difficult to follow, as in “But when it was not rose.” The conclusion repeats the main position but does not bring the reasons together. Organise each body paragraph around one main idea and use clearer links between claims and examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant health-related vocabulary, including “checkups,” “infection,” “alternative medicine,” and “sanitary pads,” so the topic is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to interpret, such as “remidies,” “onilne cure,” “dozy,” and “symtops.” Some phrases are also imprecise or unnatural, including “health related issue” and “high temprature in his body.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms would help you explain the difference between self-care for minor symptoms and professional treatment for potentially serious conditions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional idea about the risks of avoiding checkups and an example describing a person with a fever. However, the longer structures are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For instance, “if people will don't go for checkups” has an incorrect verb construction, while “one person has been servive fever” does not form a correct tense or sentence pattern. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “they uses” and “it do not cause.” Practise accurate present and past forms, subject–verb agreement, and complete sentence construction before adding more complex clauses.
