Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's world, these days numerous people with health difficulties are opting for various different treatments, rather than consulting the normal doctors.
From my perspective, it is a negative development, as considering the alternatives dispite of choosing the professional medical staff is not a sign of positive growth.
At this period of time, there are significant amount of remedies available in the world, that claims to be the natural form of treatment. They are highly marketed with the help of social media, influencers and celebrities, leading people to believe their promoted products. However, most of them does not provide any scientific proofs. For instance, rigoursely campaigned events about yoga, ayurveda, and meditation centres misguides people about treating life threatning diseases like cancer. One of my relative, was suffering from stage 3 mouth cancer, their family opted for ayurveda treatment during the first two stages, which resulted in delayed guidance from the specialists and eventually he died. They could have prevented this by getiing the right treatment at right treatment by not falling for those vague claims.
Additionally, we are witnessing the digital era, introduction of the artificial intelligence and several technological enhancements are taking over the world. Few hundreds years back, the dieases which were impossible to treat at those times, can now easily treated with the help of modern medicines such as vaccines for polio.
To conclude in brief, introducing natural exercises and historic medicines are good for day to day healthy lifestyle maintenance, they might help in reduction of stress and find peace. Although, Totally relyingon these would cause more harm than benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the outset: you regard replacing a usual doctor with alternative treatment as negative, and you maintain this view in the conclusion. You support it with relevant reasoning about unsupported health claims and a personal example involving delayed cancer treatment; the example makes the potential consequences concrete. You also acknowledge that practices such as exercise or meditation may help with stress, which adds some balance. The discussion addresses the question, but the point about modern medicine and polio vaccines is only briefly connected to the choice between alternative treatments and doctors, and the benefits of alternatives are not explored in much detail. Develop these points more explicitly and explain how each supports your overall judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a clear opinion, supporting paragraphs, and a conclusion. The progression from misleading claims to the value of modern medicine is generally understandable, and signposts such as “Additionally” and “To conclude” help guide the reader. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening repeats the time reference in “In today's world, these days,” while “At this period of time” is an awkward transition. The paragraph about technological advances would connect more effectively if you explicitly linked it to why patients should consult qualified doctors. The final paragraph also combines a concession and conclusion in a long, loosely joined sentence. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and make each paragraph’s central point more distinct.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use a range of vocabulary relevant to health and the topic, including “scientific proofs,” “life threatening diseases,” “specialists,” and “technological enhancements.” These choices help communicate your concerns about unverified treatments and the advantages of modern medicine. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “negative development” and “relying on these.” However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “normal doctors,” “significant amount of remedies,” and “right treatment at right treatment.” Spelling errors such as “dispite,” “rigoursely,” and “dieases” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your argument sound more precise and controlled.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a contrast with “Although” and a cause-and-effect construction beginning “leading people to believe.” The main position and most supporting ideas remain understandable. However, some errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction are noticeable. For example, “a significant amount of remedies” has a number mismatch, and “most of them does not provide” should use a plural verb. In “which resulted in delayed guidance,” the reference to what caused the delay could be clearer, while “they might help in reduction of stress” needs more accurate article and preposition use. The final sentence is also awkwardly joined. Review agreement and article use, and revise complex sentences to ensure each clause is complete and clearly connected.
