Student answer (Band 5.0)

In the present age the list is growing of ill people and they are trying many medicines and also doctors instructions for became healthy.

According to my opinion in this era the people uses other many things if they became bad in health instead of goining to doctors. This is because this time is a modern time and all over the world every man or a woman have his personal phone and all the social media platforms are available.

If a man get any disease and the solution of this thing is available at Youtube and people used this platform to find helpful thing about their problem.

Another reason is that people gets online treatments by their doctor and they no need to to visit doctor because people contact with their doctor at selfphone. Many social apps contains many this thing about human health and this is big way for the people to meet their doctor.

Third reason is that the people of nowadays are more lazy and helpless as compair to past. The young generation of this age are covered with many bad habits and this all things make them illness and The young people eate some fast food and this type eating things are the main reason of most number of peoples who involved in any type of disease.

The fouth point is that the doctors are more expensive and if a man want to get checkup by any sergan doctor. Then he need to pay a high amount to doctor. In our countries mostly peole are poor and they are hardly pay their home expensives and if this type people became ill then they never come to the doctor . They only used some other house treatments.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing reasons why people choose alternative treatments, but it fails to clearly state a position on whether this is a positive or negative development. The ideas are presented as a list of reasons rather than a cohesive argument. While the prompt asks for an opinion, the student provides a descriptive account of why people use alternative medicine without evaluating the impact. The development of ideas is limited, and the focus shifts between online information, doctor accessibility, lifestyle, and cost, without a central thesis. To improve, you must explicitly state your stance in the introduction and ensure every paragraph supports that position.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, such as starting paragraphs with 'Another reason' or 'Third reason' when the preceding points were not clearly linked to a central argument. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences is often disjointed. The transition between the topic of online information and the topic of 'lazy' young people is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'became bad in health', 'solution of this thing', and 'sergan doctor'. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles to express complex ideas precisely. Phrases like 'all the social media platforms are available' and 'this type eating things' are informal and lack the academic tone required for Task 2. To reach a higher band, you should focus on learning topic-specific collocations related to health and medicine and avoid using overly simplistic phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people uses', 'people gets'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'The young generation of this age are covered with many bad habits and this all things make them illness'. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences with some attempts at complex ones that are often faulty. A focus on basic sentence construction, verb tenses, and pluralisation is essential for improvement.
