Student answer (Band 5.0)

First of all most people thinks that they cure themselves with help of Google, youtube or other such tools. They use traditional ways like whaever their elders say. Majority of people visit one doctor if they feel not good then they visit another doctor next time.In such case their health issues cannot be resolves. In my opinion this is a very negative opinion because sometimes these suppliments used for other reasons and the lack of knowledge we cannot improve our health.

Solution

one must visit one doctor at least a week yet they not feel good then they visit to another treator.

on the othe hand a positive impact also we show espicially in the educated. If they take help from digital tools they keep in their minds causes, effects precautions and other disavantages of uses these medicines. So in this way it may be helpful in educated persons.

example Last week my step sister told me that she had a pain in their bones.I visit online tools they tells the reason behind is the coldness and later in really this was very helpful. Sometimes social media also give us wrong instructions. we completely not follow, but in emegency this may be helpful.

conclusion

one must treat thier actual doctor because he knows better about their health. If one goes to different health care use many kind of medicines that are not suitable for their stomache this may cause harm and bad effect on their health. I disagree to use alternatives medicines.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the trend of using alternative medicine, but the development of ideas is limited and often unclear. While you state a position that this is a 'negative development,' the arguments are disjointed and lack depth. For instance, the mention of 'digital tools' and 'educated persons' introduces a counter-argument that is not fully integrated or logically connected to your main stance. The essay lacks a clear structure, and the points provided—such as the example of your step-sister—are anecdotal and do not effectively support a broader argument. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on one clear main idea supported by logical reasoning and relevant examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear logical progression. The paragraphing is unconventional, with headings like 'Solution' and 'conclusion' inserted directly into the text, which disrupts the flow. There is a lack of cohesive devices to link sentences and ideas; transitions are either missing or misused (e.g., 'on the othe hand' is used to introduce a point that contradicts the previous paragraph, but the connection is weak). The referencing is often unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument. Using a more standard essay structure with clear topic sentences and linking words would significantly improve the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, which restricts your ability to express complex ideas. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'treator' instead of 'doctor' or 'practitioner,' 'suppliments' instead of 'supplements,' and 'stomache' instead of 'stomach.' Some phrases are awkward or unnatural, such as 'visit one doctor at least a week.' To reach a higher band, you should focus on using a wider range of vocabulary related to health and medicine and ensure that words are used in their correct context. Proofreading for basic spelling errors is also essential.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'most people thinks'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. Sentence structures are generally simple and often fragmented, such as 'In such case their health issues cannot be resolves.' There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with spacing after periods. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subjects and verbs agree, and practicing the use of complex sentences with appropriate conjunctions and relative clauses.
