Student answer (Band 5.0)

Health problem nowadays are rising at peak level in many urban area. However, instead of visiting their usual doctor majority of many individuals were been taking alternative medicines and treatments for their life better. I partially think that the negative development are creating in their life.

To commence, many people today were been trying to take medicines to solve the problems. However, the one positive development in all the youngster were been growing number of people with their diseases and health issues always trying to take some treatment and some medicines to live beneficial days in their life. on account of, people are taking risk in their perspective life. For instance, in India, today all the human are trying to take some tablets and solve the problems but in the future it will be creative a big detrimental issue.

on the other side, nevertheless, the most negative development majority of many Residents today are preferring their own doctor to treat regularly instead taking medicine on shops. Moreover, they cant going outside the visiting due to their personal doctor came and check so in the future it will be not creating an big problems. For Example, in Japan country all the humans have their own personal doctor as well as they cannot have to take alternative medicines and treatments.

To conclusion, today people should have to check their body on weekends so their can easily understand that no any issue were been having on it. in my opinion, people should always have to give first priority to doctor and do not wasting the time to create a big problems in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt but lacks clarity in its position. While you mention that you 'partially think' it is a negative development, the supporting arguments are confusing and often contradictory. For instance, the second paragraph attempts to discuss positive aspects but fails to clearly link them to the prompt, and the examples provided (such as the mention of India and Japan) are vague and do not effectively support your argument. To improve, ensure your main ideas are clearly stated in the introduction and consistently supported with logical, relevant examples throughout the body paragraphs. The conclusion should also clearly restate your position rather than introducing new advice.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by unclear transitions and confusing sentence structures. While you use some cohesive devices like 'To commence' and 'on the other side', they are often used incorrectly or do not logically connect the ideas that follow. The referencing is also problematic; for example, in the second paragraph, it is unclear what 'the one positive development' refers to in relation to the rest of the text. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a single, clear focus would significantly enhance the readability and logical progression of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is limited and often repetitive, which hinders the expression of more complex ideas. There are several instances of awkward word choices and incorrect collocations, such as 'rising at peak level' instead of 'rising significantly' or 'creative a big detrimental issue' instead of 'create a major detrimental issue'. You rely on basic vocabulary, and there is little evidence of an attempt to use less common or more precise academic terminology. To reach a higher band, focus on learning collocations and using more specific vocabulary related to health and medical topics, rather than relying on general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with verb tenses, such as 'were been taking' and 'it will be creative', as well as subject-verb agreement errors like 'the negative development are creating'. Sentence structures are generally simple and often contain errors when you attempt more complex constructions. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of capital letters and commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring consistent verb tense usage, and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement before submitting your work.
