Student answer (Band 4.5)
In oresent days, increasing number of individuals with diseases are trying to other medicines and treatments rather than visiting their usual doctor.
when patients not visiting their family doctor or usual doctor who relate to their disease and try to move on alternative options and medicines, this is a very negtive effect on health.
Try to find a other solution for their diseases is not a right path. some people are very bored to their daily routine of same medication and not get well soon after that long period of time.after that they go thier alternate solution and it give them disadvantage. because treating disease from right medication and suitable doctor is a fine path instead of alternative path.
Also this way of thinking that if they skip their doctor they will be fine but its just a negative thinking and they try to satisfy their mind. it will increase thier disease and negative impact on their health.
In contrast, skiping thier doctor lead to damage their health and also it is also leads to dosrespect of you rdoctor.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response attempts to address the prompt by taking a clear position that relying on alternative medicine instead of a regular doctor is a negative development. However, the task achievement is severely restricted by two major factors. First, the text is only 179 words long, falling significantly short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which directly penalises the score under task response parameters. Second, the ideas are repetitive and underdeveloped. The writer repeatedly mentions that skipping doctors causes health issues without introducing varied arguments, examples, or fully elaborated support. Consequently, the response only minimally satisfies the demands of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.5
The overall organisation of the essay is very weak. The text consists of a series of short, choppy sentences without clear overall progression or effective paragraphing. Transitional phrases are basic or misused, such as 'after that they go thier alternate solution' and 'In contrast, skiping thier doctor'. Paragraph structures are not properly maintained, leading to a lack of logical flow between ideas. Referencing pronouns are often unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the train of thought reliably throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used throughout the essay is basic and repetitive, frequently relying on simple words like 'disease', 'health', 'doctor', and 'solution'. There are numerous word choice and spelling errors, such as 'oresebt' for present, 'negtive' for negative, 'thier' for their, and 'dosrespect' for disrespect. Less common lexical items are largely absent, and the lack of precision significantly limits the range of vocabulary displayed. While meaning is occasionally communicated, the frequent errors and restricted range place this firmly at Band 4.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The grammatical range is very limited, consisting predominantly of simple sentences and faulty attempts at complex structures. There are persistent, frequent errors in basic grammar, subject-verb agreement, and tense usage, such as 'when patients not visiting', 'not get well soon', and 'it give them disadvantage'. Punctuation and sentence boundaries are also handled poorly, with run-on phrasing and missing capitals. These numerous errors frequently strain the reader and obscure the intended meaning.
