Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the modren epoch, an increasing number of individuals are sruffing of health detoreation and consuming alternative medication and treatment instead of visiting their regural doctor. I frimly believe that comsumption of unauthorised medication, treatments and not attending regural doctor are signs of negtive development and can have dramatic impcat on individual's body.

Adimtteity, consuming medication and trying different treating methods can leave heavy strain on body effecting on imune system, having no medical knowlegde of medicines and what are it addvers effect might effect it physicaly and mentaly, taking medication without knoing it contant can caues harm to human body and make that indivdual seceptiable to dieases. In additon, this unconvection treatment methods can disrupt nervus system, some medication are only can given in sertain way , so it does not cause any unecessary side effect or in some case paralazed part of body.

Furthermover, attending different doctor in every visit would make things difficult due becaues is unware of medical histroy. Getting medical advise from different doctor who is unwere of the an purticular individual's medical histroy is very dangarous, completelty unwere of allergy and medication that individual take increase the chance of giving that individual similar medicine which will doulded the dosage and higher MG medication have sedetive effect

to conclud, an individual with health issue needs to take proper doctor advised medicine and should attend to regular doctor, so that doctor is completely awere of a individual's medical histroy and can give right amount of dosage to an individual.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by taking a clear position that relying on alternative medicine instead of a regular doctor is a negative development. Relevant ideas are presented, such as the physical risks of unauthorized treatments and the dangers of lacking a unified medical history. However, some ideas are under-developed or remain somewhat repetitive, such as the discussion on the nervous system and the repeated mentions of medical history. The arguments are generally relevant and fulfill the prompt's requirements, showing a clear stance throughout, though further extension and deeper exploration of specific examples would be needed to reach a higher level.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

There is a coherent overall arrangement to the essay, dividing ideas into logical paragraphs addressing different facets of the topic, such as physical health impacts and medical continuity. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, and referencing is not always clear, as seen with ambiguous pronouns and abrupt transitions between sentences like 'Furthermover, attending different doctor in every visit would make things difficult due becaues is unware of medical histroy.' Paragraphing is used, but the internal logical flow of sentences within paragraphs occasionally stumbles, preventing a smoother progression of ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases such as 'alternative medication', 'sedative effect', and 'medical history'. However, there are numerous noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation that impede smooth reading, such as 'modren', 'sruffing', 'detoreation', 'regural', 'comsumption', 'unauthorised', 'addvers', 'seceptiable', 'unconvection', 'dangarous', 'awere', and 'doulded'. These lexical inaccuracies restrict the precision of the argument and place the vocabulary firmly within a lower band descriptor.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over structure. However, there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and agreement that cause some difficulty for the reader. Examples include run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'getting medical advise from different doctor who is unwere of the an purticular individual's medical histroy is very dangarous, completelty unwere of allergy and medication that individual take increase the chance...' Errors also appear in verb forms, articles, and pluralization, such as 'a individual's medical histroy' and 'some medication are only can given in sertain way', keeping the grammatical performance at this level.
