Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, a growing number of individuals with health issues are trying alternative medicines and treatments instead of visiting their usual doctor. In this essay, we will disscus both ways and know which will be best for individuals.

To begin with, health issues are increasing day by day and it effect badly on individuals life. Taking medicines and alternative treatments are knowing well for body relaxation and left diseases for some time but its not a permanent solution. Our body would feel comfortable and relax after taking medicine or temporary treatment but we need to think another solution to erase diseases permanently.

Moreover, this habit can also support us to survive for a long time and also able us to live happily. However, the people who do not try to visit their visual doctor, have to face many kind of problems such as if a person is a patient of heart, he cannot survive without any permanent solutoin or contact with his visual doctor.Consequently, it would effect badly on our body parts.

Furthurmore, in my opinion, it is a good way of visiting to visual doctor instead of any other involvement because medicines are not a permanent solution to secure our body from diseases.

In conclusion, both habits are good on their ways but visiting to doctor helps in various facilities and also get a permanent solution of it. Individuals need to change their thinking about different habits and make a good vision can help to survive longly and support in various works included in our life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You express a preference for consulting a doctor, especially by noting that people with heart conditions may need professional care, so your position is present. However, the opening promises to discuss “both ways,” and the response does not clearly compare the benefits and risks of alternative treatments or explain when they might be appropriate. Several claims, such as treatments helping people “survive for a long time,” are unclear or unsupported, and the conclusion says both habits are good without resolving the argument. The response is also 244 words, six words below the 250-word minimum; the 12 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop a clear, consistent position and support it with specific explanations or examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help signal movement between points. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the first body paragraph discusses temporary relief, the next shifts to long-term survival, and the final position is not consistently maintained. Some connections are unclear: “Moreover” introduces a claim that does not clearly follow from the previous point, while “both habits” in the conclusion is not precisely defined. Paragraphing is present, but ideas within paragraphs need clearer sequencing and explanation. Organise the essay around a consistent argument—for example, risks of replacing medical care, followed by a supported conclusion—and use linking words only where the relationship is clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary, including “alternative treatments,” “permanent solution,” “heart,” and “diseases,” which makes the general topic understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated or imprecise, such as “permanent solution” and “different habits.” Word-choice and spelling errors also reduce clarity: “visual doctor” appears where you mean a regular or usual doctor, and “disscus,” “solutoin,” and “Furthurmore” are misspelled. Phrases such as “left diseases for some time” and “survive longly” are difficult to interpret. Build a more precise set of health-related expressions and check spelling; for example, distinguish temporary symptom relief from treating the underlying condition.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, including a conditional example about a heart patient and a contrast introduced by “However.” Meaning is generally recoverable, but errors occur frequently in sentence construction and agreement. For example, “it effect badly on individuals life” has problems with the verb form and possessive structure, while “the people who do not try to visit their visual doctor, have to face” uses an unnecessary comma between the subject and verb. The sentence beginning “Moreover” also joins several ideas without clear grammatical control. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, possessives, articles and sentence boundaries, then check each longer sentence for a complete, clearly connected structure.
