Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the present, a large number of people are suffering from health problem ere trying to trying to another medicines and with out consulting the doctor. People do not know the side effect of the medicine, without the doctor recommendation. in my point of view, i think this is completely negative. these are the many reason.

firstly; use the medicine without the prescription of profession, they do not provide effective result. people use the herbal or home made medicine and do the natural treatment without the understanding the side effect. For example, Asian country, backward town are depend on herbal product, these the main reason, they are suffering from serious health problem. i think people should go the counseling the profession doctor. Government should take the necessary step to stop the herbal product or natural treatment.

secondly, people should go the qualified doctor and do not waste the time any other unprofessional. Qualified doctors they can identified your disease and treatment according to your condition. In addition doctors counseling the patient without taking the money some time professional doctors do not harmful for us nor do the wasting the our time. for instance, who people suffering from heart, diabetes need regularly check up and follow the doctor advise. government should set up the medical camp every year near the villages.

Unusual doctors provides the temporary relief but this is not enough for the patient. professional doctor help us to maintain our health. People should always seek the proper medical advise to protect the our health.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you consider replacing a usual doctor with alternative treatments a negative development, and you give relevant reasons, including the risk of side effects and the need for regular care for conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. The examples about herbal remedies and medical camps also relate to the topic. However, some points are asserted rather than explained: the claim that herbal products are a main reason people in certain towns suffer serious problems needs a clearer link or support, and the suggestion that doctors sometimes provide consultations without charge is not developed. To strengthen the response, explain how delaying professional diagnosis can worsen illness and support each example more precisely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a final paragraph restates the recommendation. Sequencing words such as “firstly,” “secondly,” and “in addition” help signal the main points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several claims are placed together without clear links, and some references are vague, as in “these the main reason.” The final paragraph repeats the recommendation rather than drawing the two arguments together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example directly to its supporting point, and make pronouns and references explicit to create smoother progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “herbal,” “side effect,” “qualified doctor,” “heart,” and “diabetes,” so the reader can identify the subject of your argument. There are also attempts at more specific expressions such as “temporary relief” and “regularly check up.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, including “another medicines,” “unusual doctors,” and “counseling the profession doctor.” Spelling and word forms also need attention, for example “advise” where the noun “advice” is intended. Build a bank of accurate health-related collocations and check whether each word fits its grammatical and contextual role.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control of sentence structure is inconsistent, particularly in longer clauses: “people use the herbal or home made medicine and do the natural treatment without the understanding the side effect” contains several structural problems. Subject–verb agreement and verb forms are also unreliable, as in “Qualified doctors they can identified your disease” and “Unusual doctors provides.” Articles, plurals, and punctuation require more consistent control, and many sentences begin with lowercase letters. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking agreement and sentence boundaries carefully.
