Student answer (Band 5.5)
Most people change their habbits as well as their opinion as they get older .I Strongly agree with this statement and in this essay i will prove my opinion.
Many people have diiferent types of habbits in their younger age.As they did not have any kind of responsibilites, they usually depend on their parents. For instance,They do not value money they dont know how hardly parents worked to earn it.Children spend on many things which might be not that usefull in their lives even they argue with thier parents to get everything which they wish to get in thier life no matter how hard it will be for parents to deal with it.Futhermore in younger age people spend too much time with thier friends with joy and happiness.Infact this might be a golden period of life to live.
On the other hand when people get older there are many things in their lives which changes .They have their own family life and they spend life as a parent which drastically change everything. For example, They value their own money ,not spend too much on everything because they realize that how hard it is for anyone can earn to spend. When people get older they learn everything from their life experiences which they comeacross their lives. In that age they did not get enough time to spend with their friends like they did in their younger age. With the passage of time they learn about their resposibilties and value of everything as life changed their relations and their role in life
In conclusion,I Believe people changed their habbits and their prespectives as they grown up.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I Strongly agree,” and the conclusion returns to the view that habits and perspectives change with age. You address both habits and opinions, using relevant examples such as younger people spending freely and older people becoming more careful with money and family responsibilities. This fully covers the central question and shows some development beyond a simple assertion. However, the discussion of changing opinions is less explicit than the discussion of habits: the examples mainly describe behaviour and responsibilities, rather than showing how a particular belief or opinion changes. To strengthen the response further, explain that change directly and develop one example in more detail, such as how experience alters someone’s view of money or friendship.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting younger and older life, and a conclusion. The contrast is easy to follow, and phrases such as “For instance,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. At times, however, cohesion is mechanical or unclear. The first body paragraph contains several ideas in one long sequence, while the second moves from family life to money, experience, and friendship without clear links between them. Some references, such as “that age,” are not precise. Use clearer topic sentences and divide or connect supporting points so each paragraph develops a focused idea; vary linking expressions rather than relying mainly on basic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including relevant terms such as “responsibilities,” “experiences,” and “value of everything.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the writing less natural. Examples include “habbits,” “diiferent,” “usefull,” and “prespectives”; these errors are noticeable throughout. Phrases such as “spend life as a parent,” “how hardly parents worked,” and “golden period of life to live” do not express the intended meaning naturally. Build a bank of accurate topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for financial priorities, maturity, and changing beliefs would help you explain your examples with greater clarity and flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can generally understand the main argument. However, control is inconsistent: several complex sentences are faulty or difficult to follow, as in “they realize that how hard it is for anyone can earn to spend.” There are also recurring problems with verb forms and agreement, including “there are many things … which changes” and “as they grown up.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation need attention too: the opening has a space before the full stop, and long sequences joined by commas make some ideas run together. Practise building complex sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check tense, agreement, articles, and punctuation when editing. More accurate sentence patterns would make your reasoning easier to follow.
