Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is a common approach that people change their habits and opinions as they grow older due to the experiences of life they have lived. I believe it is a fact and human nature demands this change.
It is evident that when we are born, we do not have this leverage to choose the envoirnment around us. Envoirnment plays a pivotel role in our development. It is responsible in shaping our thoughts, habits and actions on daily basis. For instance, a kid who is born in a contented family knows that earning money is tough and spending it wisely on daily needs is even more important. Whereas, a kid who is born with a silver spoon does not have such hurdles in life and he may not have hard choices to make. These both type of kids can lead a very different life from each other. And due to their conditions they will grow with different mindsets and habits. But as they will grow their envoirnment, their experiences can change their habits and opinions. Poor may become rich or rich may become poor. Life will teach them the lessons and shape their choices.
Similarly, a person who is fond of eating and does not like to exercise can easily call a bundle of diseases upon him comapred to the person who has chosen health over lust. That healthy person may not be same as always but he changed and understood that health is the key to live a longer life. Choosing health and change the habits with the passage of time is crucial for the person who is sedentary. For example, an unhealthy person will find difficult to work in a competitive envoirnment because he is lazy and it has effected his work performance. But if he wants to succeed and live a better life he will change his habits in a longer run. He will understand the importance and shape his life around fitness and sustainability.
I strongly believe that evolution and development happens only when there is a change and chance of growth. Humans are designed to be evolutionised and changes throughout their lives are inevitable. Therefore I agrees to this fact that with time and age changes occcur in people's habits and opinions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction to the conclusion: you agree that people’s habits and opinions change with age and experience. The response addresses both habits and opinions, and the examples about children from different financial backgrounds and a person adopting healthier routines are relevant. However, the first example focuses more on how upbringing creates different starting points than on how a person’s opinions or habits change over time; the later claim that someone may become rich or poor is not illustrated. The health example explains habit change more clearly, but the link to changing opinions is less developed. To strengthen the response, explain more directly what beliefs change and why, and extend each example with a specific outcome.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally move from upbringing to health and then to your overall view. Examples help the reader follow the discussion. However, progression within the first body paragraph is sometimes unclear: the shift from children’s different circumstances to “But as they will grow their environment” is difficult to follow. Some linking is mechanical or repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “And” and “For example,” while “Similarly” does not clearly signal how the health example relates to the earlier one. Use clearer topic sentences and make the cause-and-effect links explicit. More precise referencing would also help readers identify who “that healthy person” refers to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “mindsets,” “hurdles,” “sedentary,” “competitive environment” and “sustainability.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic vocabulary. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “common approach” for a common occurrence, “call a bundle of diseases upon him,” and “change the habits with the passage of time.” Spelling errors such as “envoirnment,” “pivotel,” “comapred” and “occurr” are also noticeable. These do not prevent the main message from being understood, but they reduce precision. Aim for natural combinations of words and check spelling carefully; prefer clear, accurate phrasing over ambitious expressions that do not fit the context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “when,” “because” and “if,” and most of the argument remains understandable. Some grammatical errors occur, however, particularly with agreement, verb forms and sentence construction. For example, “These both type of kids” needs a plural form, and “I agrees” should be “I agree.” In “Choosing health and change the habits … is crucial,” the coordinated forms do not match; use “choosing health and changing habits.” The sentence beginning “Whereas, a kid…” is a fragment in this context, and “it has effected his work performance” has an unclear subject and an incorrect verb form for the intended meaning. Review agreement and parallel structures, and connect dependent clauses to complete sentences.
