Student answer (Band 5.5)
Habits and opinions plays an crucial role in any person life. By time change the opinion and habits are also tend to change as people grow old they think differently, so it is common that there opionions and habits change. I totally agree with this situation. For supporting this points will be discused as following.
As people grow older their preference changes alot they think differently. One of the main reason behind is that in childhood they depend upon their parents and their thinking and a child only go with the habits their parents suggest them and only give opinion that is best for their parents knowldege. But when they grow up they see world diffrently and they think they are capable to think on their own that gives a great impact to change their habits and opionion. Additionly, The game or thing they like in childhood they dnt like it anymore because of change in preferences.
If I consider myself in this situation I have changed a lot and I see that my opinion and habits are also have significant impact. For example; when I was child I like to be a part of any activity that is in group becuase my mother always indulge me in the group activities like painting, singing and dancing. When I grow up I saw myslef more in individual activites then group activities. Moreover, If I talk about opinion it also changed bcecasue before I always need my parents approval if I have to give some opinion on something, when I grow up it changed.
At last, I think its depends on person to person how their things changed. Some changes a lot and some remains same as they grow older.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I totally agree,” and the response stays focused on how habits and opinions can change with age. You give relevant reasons, including greater independence from parents, and support these with personal examples about moving from group to individual activities and becoming less reliant on parental approval. This addresses both habits and opinions. The response also shows some development beyond a simple assertion, which is a strength. However, the explanation of how age itself brings these changes remains quite general, and the final point that change “depends on person to person” slightly qualifies your agreement without explaining that qualification. To strengthen the response further, extend the reasons with clearer cause-and-effect explanation and make the conclusion reinforce your position more directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining general reasons, a personal example, and a concluding statement. Ideas generally progress from childhood dependence to greater independence, and phrases such as “For example” and “Moreover” help signal development. However, some links feel mechanical or unclear, particularly “For supporting this points will be discused as following,” and the final paragraph introduces a qualification that is not prepared for earlier. Within paragraphs, several ideas are joined together in long sentences, making the relationship between them less clear. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then connect each example explicitly to that point. More precise referencing and fewer formulaic transitions would make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including terms such as “preference,” “approval,” and “individual activities.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make the writing less natural and sometimes slow the reader. Examples include “Habits and opinions plays an crucial role,” “depend upon their parents,” and “have significant impact,” where the phrasing is not idiomatic or is incomplete. Spelling errors such as “opionions,” “diffrently,” and “knowldege” are also noticeable. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for personal development and changing preferences would help you explain your ideas with greater clarity and flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including explanations with “because” and “when,” and the main message is usually understandable. However, control is inconsistent, especially in longer sentences. For example, “Habits and opinions plays” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “By time change the opinion and habits are also tend to change” has an unclear structure and faulty verb pattern. Tense and sentence construction also need attention in “when I grow up I saw myself” and “my opinion and habits are also have significant impact.” Articles and punctuation are sometimes inaccurate as well. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses; check agreement, tense consistency, and verb forms during editing.
