Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, there is debate going on where some individuals beleive that It Is normal for individuals to change both their habits and thier opinion as they get older. while some critics think that habits and opinion cannot change along their life. In my opinin, I totally agree with this statement that opinion and habits get changed acording to their age.
To begin with, the first reason is that age plays very important role in changing opinions and habits. Because in every age group circumstances are different, In differenet age groups mind set changes acoording to their lifestyle and responsibilities. In childhood nobody have stress for their career, kids just think of playing games and delicious food. Most of the kids dont wanted to go to school, when they get in their teenage can start thinking of their career and start finding love of their life whome they can spent their life.
Moreover, experince also can be a big role in life to change thoughts. Because, In resposnsibilities people get different experinces in every part of the world they go when any individual they met, people get different experince from evryone. Hence, which make people change their opinion and habis. people of different thinking also plays a crucial role in changing their thoughts.
In conclusion I strongly belive that every age group people change their opinion and habits by meeting people who have different thinking. Furthermore, responsibilities can also change perspective of many individuals by giving them differet experinces of life in diffrent faces.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people’s habits and opinions change with age, and you give relevant reasons involving changing responsibilities and life experience. The childhood example—children focusing on play before later considering careers—helps illustrate how priorities can shift. However, the response addresses the question only partially because the reasons are mostly asserted rather than explained in detail. The point about meeting people with different views is repeated in the second body paragraph and conclusion, but no specific example shows how this changes someone’s habits or opinions. Develop each reason with a concrete situation and explain the change it causes. Also make the link between age and changing habits as explicit as your discussion of opinions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning with “To begin with” and “Moreover,” and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the sentence beginning “Because in every age group circumstances are different” is a fragment, and the shift from childhood to teenage relationships is abrupt. In the second body paragraph, “Because” starts another incomplete explanation, while “Hence” introduces a sentence that does not clearly connect to its preceding idea. The conclusion also repeats points rather than drawing them together. Use complete sentences, make each paragraph develop one reason in a clear sequence, and use references such as “these experiences” to clarify links.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “circumstances,” “responsibilities,” “career,” “experience,” and “perspective.” These words help communicate the general ideas, but the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “change,” “opinion,” and “experience.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “beleive,” “experince,” “habis,” and “differet,” which can make the reader pause. Some combinations are unnatural, including “experience also can be a big role” and “finding love of their life.” Aim to use more precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, describe experience as something that “plays an important role,” and use “form relationships” rather than the less natural phrase in the essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “when” and “because,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range is limited, and complex structures are often faulty. “Because in every age group circumstances are different” and “Because, in responsibilities people get different experiences” are incomplete sentences; “Hence, which make people change” is also not a complete clause. There are frequent problems with agreement and verb forms, as in “nobody have” and “Most of the kids dont wanted.” Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “age plays very important role” and the inconsistent capitalisation after full stops. Practise building complete sentences and checking subject–verb agreement, verb tense, articles, and punctuation.
